  • @sergsrt8

Too bad drag racing barely requires any skill. That's why hillbillies do it

  • oh my 4WD.

  • OMG he destroyed the Mustang from the line !!

  • @sergsrt8 its funny because the wrx would still win

  • @L33jacob its funny because a 5.0 is a high 12 second car while a wrx is a mid-high 13 second car...

  • Beautiful proof that subaru owns the track. Mustang drivers please sell them and buy a real car. Thank you that is all

  • wow... wrx runs a flat 4 not a rotary and is awd...ffs. If you're pro, nothing launches better than awd..

  • New wrx vs a 10 year old mustang....duh. Race a new 5.0 and get back to me

  • @sergsrt8 Actually raced my friend's "new" 5.0 last weekend, and I beat him by a few car lengths.

  • @TitanGuy22 your friend must me a bad driver...the 5.0 does high 12's while a wrx will do mid 13's...

  • And what do all ya morons drive! Rice cans!

  • @roushmustang2003 Dude, you are a fucking idiot. Mazda has the the rotary engine, not Subaru....so I am guessing you don't know much about "rice cans." I bet you feel like a big boy when you brag on Mustangs........because you are a true american. LOL. Hate on import cars all you want, but before you trash talk, please do some research. You are a moron, and I don't think I have laughed harder about someone getting flamed on the internet in my whole life.

  • I Hate ignorant people that can't face the facts. Let alone know them. People like, rouchmustang.

  • Look at his name Roushmustang2003 and talking about the wrx like he knows the car, fwd no awd, rotary no flat4. Mustang owners can be ignorant and vice versa. that takes the cake though.

  • Comments below make me think- WTF is wrong with this world!

  • zoom in on the times? just a suggestion.

  • fwd car???? and rotary engine in a wrx!!! What planet are you from?

  • @ndkoz77 hey what 0-60 did you post after stage 1? my access port is on the way for my 2011 :)

  • @ndkoz77 ahaha lmao

  • a mustang and a fwd car like this should not be racing its a huge diff, the mustang will have a slower take off due to the rotary engine in a wrx and fwd of the wrx, when the mustang is racing a car like this it will never be a fair chance because in the long run the torque of the mustang will kill the torque of the wrx and blow it to nothing, not a fair race for neither car, but in this one for the mustang

  • @roushmustang2003 let me help you. the subaru has a turbocharged flat 4 with awd the mustang has a rather droll motor for the base gt of that year and i dont think they were racing specifically against each other

  • @roushmustang2003 what fwd? what rotary engine? on a subaru? please Google your facts

  • @vegabaja WRX is AWD car with a 2.5 H engine (boxer engine) Sounds like you are talking about Mazda

  • @ndkoz77 huh? sounds like @roushmustang2003 is talking about a Mazda. i know that my subie is awd and horizontal. i was telling @roushmustang2003 to check his facts.

  • @roushmustang2003 i felt left out so i decided i needed to rip on you too. Are you retarded? Subaru WRX is a 2.5 turbo boxer engine with Subaru's famous AWD system. Your mustang is a hunk of cheap plastic crap with an oversized motor that has no idea how to get the power from the motor to the wheels. Sure some mustangs like the new 302 are fast but outside of the new 302 you will flip on any corner at more than 5mph with that suspension design that hasn't been updated since 1965. That is all

  • @zedvw2002 you say that yet the mustang can handle better than the camero and it has independent suspension. and oversized motor my ass, its a small block v8, always has been, the only big block so far is the 6.2, and thats not that big. and mustangs are cheap, i'll give you that, but their muscle cars, their ment for straight lines, to have madd rwhp and pull 8.1 quarter miles, not win a rally. two completely different classes.

  • @Drake5153 No, BOTH the camaro and the mustang handle like shit EXCEPT the new 302...i'm a diehard euro kinda guy and i can honestly say the one US car i am impressed with is the new 302 cuz it can take a corner sharper than one found on a nascar track. it is an oversized motor FOR THE POWER IT MAKES TO THE WHEELS....the new 5.0 is a step in the right direction but the 6.2 is huge, yet a euro or jdm 6cyl makes more hp in some cases....and 8.1 quarter miles are great but not found on a stock car

  • @zedvw2002 k, first off the 302 is still a solid axle, and doesn't have that much of a difference from the mustang, mind you there is a solid difference, its just subtle. second the 6.2 is small compared to other american big blocks that'd consider in mass production due to the market for them and the retarded horsepower and torque you can get from them(800hp and 850tq from a 8.3litre v8 naturally asperated).

  • @Drake5153 302 is very different from the regular mustang ( I don't think you've seen the track times.) The 6.2 is absolutely enormous, it's one of the biggest V8's that you can find on the market, plus the hp is terrible for it's size. also i don't care what potential they have to make power, i'm talking stock cars. and by the 8.3 i'm assuming your talkin bout the v10 from a viper, not a v8. 800hp does not impress me from a 8.3. I hate hondas but my buddy's S2000 4cyl turbo makes 680hp

  • @zedvw2002 i have seen the track times, im talking set up wise. and chevy has bigger engines than a 6.2 lol you obviously don't know v8's, and the 8.3 is a v8 /watch?v=2BcgDEWbRo0 thats proof, you can order that from the same place you can order the 302 engine and 5.0 boost ready packages. chevy has ls7's that are 7 litres, their quite easy to find, even the hemi's that are like 3 grand a piece are 6.4 litres. and that 800hp is without anything, just natrually aspirated, practically stock.

  • @roushmustang2003

Torque output on the EJ257 motor on an STI (I understand this is a WRX) is typically higher than the HP output. My STI makes 291whp and 340wtq. The only time this is going to change is when you get into ridiculous HP numbers ( HP > 400) where you're aiming for top end power with a larger turbo. Its also a flat four, not a rotary. Also, awd not fwd.

  • @roushmustang2003

I bet you lick widows :D

  • @roushmustang2003 WRX is AWD, but RWD (mustang) is much better on the 1/4 than FWD since once the car pushes forward the weight shifts to the back giving the rear wheels more traction. Also Rotory engines have their peak power at the high rpms

  • @roushmustang2003 did you wright all this logic down while you were having a bad pcp trip??

  • SUBARU RAPE MAGIC!!! haha

  • So did u tune the car to put the k&n air intake system? because people have been telling me i need to

  • @steelers17king I don't know why all subaru owners feel they need to tune their car to prep for bolt ons like a downpipe or an intake, unless the car is complete garbage the ecu should compensate for the extra little bit of air, if the car can't compensate for a 10-20 hp gain you should probably mod something else...

  • LOL!!!WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 4.6 for the lose... Mustang GTs were a joke until the new 5.0

  • subaru takes advantage in the lauch because of the awd system, but mustang is more powerful and then it's better than the subie in a long distance straight. I know it's obvious, just sayin' because of some idiots that keep comparing cars in a drag race...

  • @SangueVerde7

lol you should do you research a bit more. for that year stang there is no chance! heavy no hp n the 4.6's at all that mustang would have to be heavily modded with a s/c to beat stock 2011 wrx.

  • @SangueVerde7 ACTUALLY..the fourth gen stang GT capped at 260 hp which is 5 hp less than the subie is like 300 lbs heavier than the WRX and look at the gearing..so to say that it's just because of the AWD is far from the truth.

  • thumbs up if you thought that was a tornado in the background!

  • Mustang owner fell asleep there

  • I had a 2010 wrx and just got a 2011. I think the numbers are understated so as to not affect sti sales. Better traction, exhauast, suspension on the 2011, so how can it put down slower numbers than 09-10 with only 33lbs of weight gain from the widebody. Why does a stage 1 on the 2011 basically equal a stage 2 on 09-10 by cobb???

  • Byron Dragway , Illinois

  • Where is this? PRP?

  • he wouldn't be running a low 13 if he was stock...13.7 is like the best stock time for a 2011 wrx...but the 09's were 13.5 WTF subaru

  • @greene619 some guy on nasioc did a 12.9 with a stock 09 wrx, not saying that is a realistic time, but 13.4 for a stock 2011 isnt really out of the question. I think the car and driver time for the 2011 was 13.7@100 vs 13.5@102 for an 09, usually owners can do better. Then again based on how my 2011 feels I would be surprised if I could actually pull a low 13 in real life..but who knows

  • LOL I smoked a modded stang with my stock S2000..... cant wait to wax with my 2011 WRX :-)

  • lol, guessing the dislikes of this vid are mustang owners

  • nice ! are you stock?

  • 13.4 @ 101mph
