I hope Bourdain was taken to a more classy restos in Pampanga. There are tons of them here and I was surprised to see that he was taken to places like these. Sad. We have delicacies in Angelse City, San Fernando, Chicharon of Guagua, the fermented food in Lubao etc. There are tons to show and share in Pampanga.
I was a young American soldier in 1955 assigned to Clark Air Force Base with the 8313 Army Unit later to become the ACAN Unit with telecommunication duties. Angeles was a much different town in those days. Those years taught me much about life and the great people of Pampanga whom I worked with at Clark.Ten centavos for a San Miguel beer and a great meal for 3 pesos. And yes I met a pretty female who still lives in Guagua.

Also, Pampanga is not a city. Its a province. Angeles is the chartered City.
