I first heard this song on the Joy fm ( florida) and it touched my heart. It reminds me that Gods is always there for us, no matter the struggle or the problem we are facing. Ahh, did he say write from his heart? That explains it, better stay away then. We all know what the heart is like. Jeremiah 17:9 and Genesis 6. And why say to write about what people want to hear. How about what God is pleased with. Who cares what others think, I am more pleased with what the Lord thinks. I speak with Him and He speaks to the world that is by using me.

buddy, are you serious? you don't think that God wants us to speak from the heart? last time i checked, God wanted us to be honest about what we feel and not hide behind religious dogma. and as for saying what people want to hear, people do want to hear about how God loves them and is there for them, and not about how God is judging them and discarding them for their imperfection. God's is a message of love. and Third Day are rising above most other Christian bands in delivering that message. :D

Well of course, duh. Of course He wants us to be honest that's why the Law says "thou shall not bear false witness", I wasn't saying that third day is a bad band like you made it out that I was saying. When we sing Christian songs they should be from His heart, He is the one who loves before we came to Christ in repentance and faith we had no love in us. I love their songs they are nice. I have moved over to artists like Lacrea, Trip Lee, Flame. Check them out, some great theology in their music and talking about repentace, and Law and forgiveness of sins. Third dday is great too that is the one's that are saved already you know what I mean. But I just think that if we have non-believers come to listen it should bring truly glory and honor too Him. A person needs to be broken over their sins, afterall their sins are against Him. So He can heal.

Yes a 1000 times yes - I really like Third Day but I had some friends who showed no fruits of repentance who also loved them. But Flame and Lecrae are tight. I do not think of it as hip hop but as Paul Washer (check him out too) preaching with a beat. I actually would call Flame the black paul washer. God bless man.
