@AmericaAdvance What I meant by fight was short term as in individual dinosaurs fighting and long term as in which would outcompete the other. I hope that this clarifies what I was asking.

Hi, George. I hope that you are doing well. I have a question for you. Which group of dinosaurs would win in a fight, both short term and long term, abelisaurids like majungasaurus, or tyrannosaurs like daspletosaurus? I hope that you could answer my question.

@AmericaAdvance Well I know you are asking for George to ask this question, but I love dinos so I will just give you my input. Tyrannosaurs were very tough and strong animals, even Abelisaurids which were successful as well, could not keep up with Tyrannosaurids. Like Daspletosaurus, its jaws were huge compared 2 Abelisaurs and it had a much stronger bite force than them, even Tyrannosaur's arms could be used in combat unlike Abelisaurs. In my opinion, Tyrannosaurs would ultimately win both ways

Interesting. Bakker in "Raptor Red" seems to imply that raptors, at least Utahraptors, tend to stay in dedicated pairs.

Thanks for answering my question dinosaur george I was going to use this in my paper but of course I finished it yesterday because I felt I wouldnt have time to finish it today. I used an article from Dr. Witmer not Witmore where he discusses an endocast of a tyrannosaurus rex
