this still gets me. the wreck of the whole thing. most of it wasnt intacted after it went under. i still cant believe that they wanted to bring it back to the surface. there wouldnt be anything left by the time they got it to the surface
This is rather beautiful. The only problem I see is in the 'wrecked' version of the Grand Staircase. Exploration of the real wreck shows us that the Grand Staircase is gone, pulled out through the Dome during the decent.
the staircase they now believe actally broke apart and floated out of the hole from the dome . the dome is also done . they believe this because when they built is exactly the same for the movie it actall all snaped and came flying up out while they where filming the dome crashing scean .
Which is what I said, basically. You just added in a lot more detail. Its amazing that the movie crew managed to figure out something that mystified people for a long time!

In fact, before the wreck was found, people thought the staircase would've been intact, possibly like what was seen in this video.
