El segundo premio recayó en Rubén Bettencourt, de nacionalidad portuguesa, mientras que el español Andrea González logró el tercer premio. Alexis Vallejos obtuvo diploma de finalista.

Can someone tell me how you pronounce Mircea? Spell it out or something. I've been looking online and so far apparently it's like Meer-ch-e-a? According to someone with the name, there's a nearly silent "h" in there.

That's how the name would be written in the IPA.Though it's quite hard to read for most people,attempting to use English sounds to imitate Romanian phonemes doesn't seem particularly productive either.

The best approximation would be MEER-CHA,however:

1)there should indeed be a short E before the final sound(diphtongue)

2)the R is an alveolar tap, or a trill in emphatic speech

3)the first vowel is an /i/, therefore doesn't sound exactly like the English group "ee"
