I've always wondered, is it faster warping from 4-2 to 6, or continuing to 5 and warping to 7? Having the game on the NES since new, I have always taken my time when playing it.

the order of the best charicters in this game is

1. Luigi (best jumps)

2. Princess Toadstool (hovers in the air)

3. Mario (kinda worthless)

4. Toad (100% worthless)

i agree with Luigi and Toad in their orders but flip Mario and Princess Toadstool mainly because Mario can run and lift faster than Princess Toadstool plus, Mario is a better all around player

Luigi gives high jump, Princess gives floaty dance. Both are good depending on the situation but I prefer the Princess since she can just fly through most of the game.

Nice speed run. I remember playing thsi game as a kid and not getting anywhere close to the end.

This was a good time for a speed run, and not that you don't know it already, but I'm sure you cuold do better. There were a few instances in which you could have chopped off a few seconds, but all in all it was really good.

Great job once again - one of my favorite games on NES. I recall being able to earn endless chances on the slot game between levels and knowing how to hit 2 cherries every time. The number of lives went into letters after exceeding the numerical max. Oh, but that was only 20 years ago, lol.

Been ages since I've played Mario 2. I may get my old NES down off the top of the wardrobe, it's up there in a sports bag with about 30 games.

I was never a huge fan of Mario 2 - the game play didn't bother me, though some of the later levels were really repetitive. And the King Wart storyline was daft. Glad they saw sense and brought back Koopa in M3 :)

Not really! Note my name and u would know how I know this... They were in a dream WORLD called Subcon and they were instantly teleported back home after the adventure in the form of 'waking up'. Proof that this wasn't a dream was the fact that Shyguys now inhabit the Mushroom Kingdom and that Peach has learnt to float in the air as she did in the adventure (Super Smash Bros. Melee).
