honestly thats bull shit... I have downpipe/exhaust/intake/jb4(ma­p 2) and I am neck to neck to several stock C6 Z06's. Either that 335 isnt what it says it is or the Z06 is moded some how.. Just my honest 2 cents being that I own a 335

@christu11y Stage 3 is ECU, downpipes+IC. you will get about 420 hp and you don't outrun Z06s with that on a heavy 335. @alex01kuk with upgraded turbos and those mods, he should be putting down more HP than that..how much boost is he pushing? I have n54 with FBO and meth...60/40 mix and on JB4 Map 3..have not had the chance to dyno but guys with similar mods are putting down about 420hp..i know lostmarines dynos on his upgraded RB turbos were way higher than 420!

I have a 135i and before I attempted to watch this video, I thought for sure that 335i was going to get annihilated. For that car to hold off that Z06 for that long is mighty impressive in my book. That is definitely a fast car for sure.

@luckeycraig I like how you think you know what the c8 is going to be when no one even knows how the c7 is actually going to be. There is a reason the corvette uses a v8, and in the z06 case its most apparent 17mpg city 26hwy and 505hp ( supra is 18city 22hwy with 320hp) Weight is kept to a minimum making it a great track car. The reason the supra holds so much boost is because its engine block is made of cast iron vs aluminum (z06) (iron 7L lsx block holds up to 2500hp and is used for drag)

The corvette was never an american muscle car anyways. It started as the american sports car. Chevelle, mustang, camaro, trans am, is true IIIIMERICAN muscle V8. So i think GM and BMW are genius, innovative, and original all at the same time. I am a fan of any great car company. Thats why i choose to own both z06 & m3

Calm down there will probably not be a v6 tt corvette in the future and if there is it will be the base model and the top will be a v8 but from what i have noticed in the past 50 years they were all V8's. @VivaLaNick335 the AT holds the power a lot better than MT because technically you don't really launch 335's with this power so you start in second gear (kinda like a rolling start) and let the power take over, much less stressful on the trans because you arent ripping first gear
