Have you try them with your shoulder lean forward more? Forearm and upper arm would be less than 90 degree. Though it put a lot of stress on the elbow tendon (or is it just me?), I think it's the same feeling as the transition part of the Muscle up.
just found your channel and I have to say the workouts I see here are pretty cool^^
your not arrogant like many others I see in videos like this^^ your muscles are pure build by training (I think^^) and its cool that you explain every harder workout, so that people can try it by them self^^ I think I'll also try some of them out- keep up the good work btw: it's also cool, that your answering to many comments even when you already got 3000 subs^^
This exercise is not for unexperienced. Especially overweight people should not do this exercise. Bodyweight exercises are not for everyone. Unexperienced may do this on the wall, it would be easier on the elbows.
I'm my opinoin these are correct. I just did 40 of them and the only thing that started to feel uncomfortable were my elbows. You are right about the fact that people don't often train their joints. Especially those who use a lot of machine exercises instead of freeweights. However, I only perform freeweight and bodyweight exercises and my elbows always hurt when performing pull ups and chin ups when going down to low. With this one however my elbows didn't really hurt. Thumbs up!
massibest83 seems to be doing his differently than yours. Yours is more strict in isolating the triceps while massibest83 leans more forward in the upward motion. I think.
Nice technique as far I understand these. Thanks for mentioning stress in the wrist. I wonder if that means wrong technique or just what happens with these.
these are great, though i do feel it in my left elbow. need to work on hand positioning i think, i have the same problem with dips. @thefortress can you do superman pushups?... i find they really hurt my mid/lower back.
Really great exercise. Tryied right now and there was no problemes neihter with elbows or wrists. Got some stress on shoulders too, which is good in my opinion. Anyway, if I can get to barbell, i prefer doing skullcrushers.
Anyone, who will do this exercise, it's good to perform if beofre or after dips, u can superset them even. Will be a gret strees on your muscles)
@TheF0rtress Happy New Year for you) Keep doing videos in the next year also) Your work is a nice inspiration)
@abban132435 as you gradually build up, the joint strengthens, and there is no problems with it at all. Highly beneficial because very few "bodybuilders" concentrate on joint strength, only muscle gains.
@TheF0rtress you are correct to a certain point, some joins can be trained, elbows and knees cannot. thats why peaple usually do compound moovements to gain muscle and only cause strain on the muscles, it also depends on genes, some can do these without any problems at all and some might mess theyre elbows up, for peaple who aint got to strong joints and doesnt know theyre bodies limit, should probably not do these kind of pushups.
@TheF0rtress just like i mentioned, everybody is different and since you are the one who puts these things up, i think you should upload a substitute excercise for peaple who get joint pain from this just to be as helpful as possible.
i find these to be much more difficult if you do them on your fingertips. this gives your triceps much less leverage at the bottom position.

@TheF0rtress it hurts my elbow joints. i've always had a messed up left elbow that sort of pops whenever it gets isolated in a movement like this.
