I really liked this show especially the 2nd season. Quick question for the readers of the original comics (this always bugged me cos Will was pretty useless in battle in season 1) does Will have the power of Quintessence (or however you spell it) from the beginning or does she get later on like in the show?

when a friend of mine told me about this show i saw the intro and i had an idea for a new character.... the guardian hunter, a servant of of phobos who has the same powers as the guardians themselves, he's the only 1 who can defeat them, and get this he'S an old man who has a grandson who lives on earth, but he didn't know about it till will accidenty unleash his powers, and he only turn into the hunter when the girls turn into W.I.T.C.H

It just sad that w.i.t.c.h. was misunderstand by the winx most of the people (in my opinion witch has more history and deep meaning from the comic, even I know a boy who read the comic) and the worst part witch was the first who came the idea (just see in wikipedia), winx came in 2004 and witch came in 2001. Big diference!!!

By the way the tv show was not my favourite, because the change too much from the comic book, believe in me, I have all the comics (sadly they stopp in my country now).

Anyone notice how winx characters look a bit like W.I.T.C.H characters? I noticed it when I first watched it.They've got similar ethnic diversity. The main character is a redhead, there's a blonde, there's a dark skinned person, an Asian girl.. same amount of people. Both transform into their winged forms and uniforms.

@DaleHusband I'll bet. And I'll have to give W.I.T.C.H another chance. The show didn't appeal to me as a child but it might appeal to me now. I think Winx is far more popular because it appeals to little girls and little girls are very impressionable. They also are more merchandise oriented I think. W.I.T.C.H seems to be for older audiences.

But even as a child I really really love this song. They should consider making this mainstream music XD

Oh, I remember how much I loved this just a few years ago. And the fact that I watched it was like my biggest ever secret, since all my friends (claimed they) didn't like it.
