  • hello i have one question.. i inserted several times the key code.. but i pressed the main button instead of button 5 in the end.. and after several times i couldnt write anything because every button i press it doesnt react.. only the on/off button works.. the display shoes me the same message CODE ---- 00.. do you have any ideea what should i do..? thanks

  • These units have a tendency to just do strange thing, this fault can sometime be brought on by unusually cold temperatures and condensation, the flashing display is often accompanied by an erratic or inoperative volume control.

The cure that most often works is to remove the players power fuse or disconnect the battery for at least a minute; then reconnect and will hopefully be ok.

If not then try warming and drying the player and then repeat above.

  • Hello was wondering if you can help! My Cd player the dispaly is flashing!! Works fine but do u know why its doing that?? Thanks Sam

  • eggonrunway thanks

  • eggonrunway the connection of the 6000 rsd aeon same as 6006. thanks

  • @mamma816 Yes I think the 6000 is the same wiring connections, a quick google should confirm this.

  • eggonrunway what is the min and what is failure plus.en g3. thanks.

  • @mamma816 The unit should work fine down to a supply voltage of 11 volts without affecting the memory and a maximum of 15 volts, normal is 12 - 14 volts

  • I have a Clarion in dash changer from a Nissan and I was wondering if you would you happen to know where I might be able to get the springs that hold the top metal tray down on the CD trays?

  • @mrsalty75 Try cpc, RS Components, Farnell, Rapid or Maplin for spring kits etc

  • Hi this is a great help, can i ask your advice ive just bought a 2nd hand one for my mondeo ghia x and ive put it all in with the key code and after it displayed '1 hour' ive tried to load a CD and its say cd error, what have i done wrong or is this a faulty unit?

    Thanks

    Jay

  • Yes you may have a fault, if the error code is 3 then try cleaning the lens, I am not sure what the "1hour" display means as I have not seen that before.

  • i lost my code for a 98 ford mondeo, can you help me find it please, or how do i get it? thank you very mouch!

  • @vampirolopez The legal way is through a dealer but a quick google for radio codes will reveal other options.

  • So I guess you power up the Ford 6000 should be the same way???

  • @gmaccag Yes, making sure that you have both the BAT+ and ACC+ connected to that the code is stored correctly.

  • Thats great that mate, I think the problem why I could not get it working was that I was only connecting 1 ground instead of 2, will try later anyway and see if it works correctly.

    Thanks
