What's it about, you asked? It's the 1970s and the black folks were for one moment in history the biggest threat to the WASP established order/permanent gov't in the US - they appear in the media now as sports giants (=harmless) or great entertainers (=harmless) or whathaveyou. That's just before the drugs hit the ghettos real hard. The black kids can escape through luck or the hoops. C&C pick up on that and make an anthem out of that.
