@DLoebach Wrong. You better watch this episode again couse Kramer is not wearing the sweater for that reason. If I remember correctly, Jerry gives the sweater to Kramer couse he didn´t like it. Is it a coincidence that Kramer is wearing the sweater in the bar scene. Later, in that episode, when delivery guy (i think, i really don´t remember) enters to Jerry's apartment, he starts to sniff cause he was standing next to Kramer and then they realize that the sweater is the reason of the sniffing.

I really have to give props to the guy playing Barry. Keeping a straight face during that scene must have taken all his will power. kramer is arguably the greatest character ever realized in a tv show. he is a perfect mix of the idea and the actor. nothing has come close to his numerous quirks and nuances (or entrances) in a show before or since. it takes a special mix, and they nailed it.
