Stephen used to come up to Wichita Falls and play with his old friend Michael O'Neill. It was always a great time to see how he enjoyed what he was doing. I love his song writing and playing. I really miss him!
Dear Epiphonefan, Double Trouble are Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton. They are and always have been. They are one and the same as when they were with Stevie. Malford Milligan sings often with them. Stephen Bruton was their dear friend. He was all of Texas' dear friend.
It's with deep sadness I got the news about TSB death. Since the first time I saw him smiling threw a hole Bonnie Raitt show in Gothenburg Sweden in the early 90', I've been following Stephens music. I been lucky to catch him two times solo in Sweden and once in Austin. He's music and lyrics has made me cry, smile and laugh threw the years. I never got to know him, but he felt like a friend. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Stephen
Stephen is as gorgeous and talented as he was when I met him 25 years ago through Steven Farrone when they played a gig in Fort Lauderdale with Christine McVie

Stephen is one of the most brilliant songwriters of our generation, an amazing singer, player, performer; whose CD's are equally impeccable......
