  • he still have millions of dollar stockpiled somewhere

  • Where he is from ?? and wat happen 2 him now ?? Any1 ?

  • "I think we're gonna see a lot of problems surfaced in the first quarter of '09"

    You're done, bitch

  • Never was a Billionaire, he lived on other peoples money..... Now he will be taking a big black dick in his ass for the next 250 years.....

  • Is it fun being a piece of fucking shit?

  • Comment removed

  • Have you noticed when asked about how he avoided subprime debacle, he keeps blinking very often....

    Lame liar.

  • Lol. He actually used a metaphor to make you think "all we had to do is doing nothing to avoid the risk."

That shud have given a hint for the financial advisor network... Making more money in the 21th century free-competition world without taking risk? Yea that sounds pretty believable.

  • The people at CNBC really need to hire some investigating journalists.

  • To all the @me's: I made that comment over a year ago, before the SEC started investigating him and way before he was arrested. Now we all know he was operating a ponzi scheme. At the time I made the comment, we didn't. I removed it, so you can all calm down.

  • If i was a billionaire, regardless of what you think about me, i would start ripping the world apart. I would be a terrorist.

  • It would be borng and stressful. I don't party hardy. When I was in the army, I had tons of cash. What I did in the Army: I went shopping too much for a structured environment that has controls for reasons. I got sick of it. I wear the same clothes now. I dd get lonely and eat out a lot. Maybe people need to do that to grow out of it.

  • Mr Stanford is innocent.

  • Are you serious? He "avoided the sub-prime crisis" b/c he was faking investments and defrauding people. The telltale sign of a Ponzi scheme is that it produces unbelievably good results . . . until people catch on.

  • Exxodus28, you're an idiot. PONZI SCHEME!!

  • Yeah, it's fun being a billionaire, ''Until you go to Federal Prison".

  • typical CNBC, dont ask any hard questions...just stick your tongue up their assholes and lick it clean.

  • This is the kind of tripe CNBC feels is necessary to poison it's viewer's minds with, as it mocks the 'taxpayer's' and brown noses to Wall Street. Oh, BTW, F U Carl Quintanilla!

  • what an evil man he is! BURN HIM! Rot in hell! He's definitly guilty, just look at his face! he looks so dodgy too in the pics of him in shackles outside court. it doesn't matter that he hasn't a trial, denies charges, is in i tiny cell in jail with or had access to a computer to go through his records...he's guilty as hell.

  • the jet son the ram are $60 mil a peace

  • GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for sharing!

    Happy Trading!

  • His title in prison will be 'Princess'.

  • my oh my.. not happy enough with the billions he has to buy himself a knighthood from Antigua (WHICH BY THE WAY IS HONORARY) which for those of you who dont know the meaning of honorary means he cant use the title in public he s not British and the knighthood was nt from the Queen but from some beaurocrat in Antigua who obviously had his pockets fillled by that texan knob ...so much for the american dream ...what a prick.

  • I want to see you all when he gets off innocent.

  • "Before we let you go, um....is it fun being someone's bitch in prison?"

  • @DavePlaysTrombone Now thats s'funny heheeeheeeeheeee

  • He faces up to a 250-year sentence! hahahahaah

  • Nice to know this guy finally got the shaft. A crook from start to finish, this is capitalism's finest folks!

  • i couldnt agree with you more. hahaha. how sad when people wont see this for what it is they are so afraid someone will touch a piece of their pie. and sure madoff is in jail - he stole from the rich. capitalism and classism at it best.

  • Sensationalism is striking again and who cares if there is a guilt or not as long as we can sell a few more copies and or feel good about someones possible misfortune. Just make sure it wont happen to You.

  • Can people think for a second... Why isn't this guy in jail if he is guilty? This guy was accused on February 17, and it has been over 3 months since he was accused. by this time, Madoff was already guilty and on his way to jail, this guy is not even close.

  • because it takes long to gather information/evidence.. they arrested him yesterday

  • but he hasn't been sentenced look they started out with him swindling 8 billion and now they accuse 7 billion next thing you know it will be 6 billion because they keep finding the money.

  • Why CNBC asks him now... Is it fun been in jail, and I hope without a penny..

Are the others inmates going to call him Sir too ? .

I hope he remains in jail for the rest of his life.

  • fukn CNBC THE STATION WE JUST PLAIN HATE does specials that are at the elementary school level, scott cohen interviewing alan stanford might as well be sucking his cock...speaking of limp wrists......can anyone top JOHN HARWOOD FOR GIVING SISSY INTERVIEWS, AND BUTT BOY TO EVERY WASH DC POLITICIAN.

  • You wealth envy prima donnas need to get a grip. Why the hell wouldn't it be fun to be a billionaire. Why is he a scumbag? Because he is rich? Because he thought it wise that PEOPLE SHOULD ONLY BE LENT MONEY IF THE HAVE THE MEANS TO PAY IT BACK. Wow what a ridiculous concept...

  • No... we hate him because he took people's money in a big scam. He didnt invest in securitized loans because he really didnt invest his clients money at all.

  • Remembering this makes hearing about his indictment all the sweeter. Burn the rich, eat their mansions!

    ... Wait.

    Shit.

  • what a fucking scumbag

  • D**k

  • F*** YOU !!!

  • I second that....

  • He is not in handcuffs, because he is innocent and they have not found anything against him. Also, after he said it was fun, he said "But it's hard work."

  • Allen Stanford :

    PONZI SCHEME = DILDO.

.... everyone who use it gets screwed...

  • Forget Stanford, how does Carl have a job??

  • Allen Stanford is a fraud.

  • R. Allen Staford's father, Mr. James A. Stanford, knew nothing of this!

  • How is this guy not in handcuffs by now?

  • ass wipe ....these people even have the nerve to laugh like its ok that hes an asswipe, all i know is if there were more socialized programs then we would be a prosperous nation, starting with socializing health care would be a great start!

  • maybe some problems will arise in early 09. maybe some

  • Does anyone know why the SEC told the State of Texas to stand down when they were ready to take out this piece of trash?

This Stanford guy and madoff are worse than a terrorist. Combined they both caused a lot more damage than 911.

  • I think we are going to see a lot of problems surfaced in the first quarter of 09 - Allen Stanford.

You said it buddy. Bubba and tyrone are waiting for you in the pen, they have a special room for you all ready to go, complete with a bed, cuffs and Vaseline.

  • The reason why Hannity and Limbaugh love these scum sucking turds so much, is that they are all cut from the same stench filled rags.

They are all money grubbers. Hannity & Limbaugh make millions a year tearing down the middle class and endorsing big greedy corporations and corporate thieves and frauds such as the above.

Speaking of Texas, US may as well let them be independent republic again get their scandal ladened arse (enron) big oil out of the states.

    DOn't mess with texas it's a mess.

  • Yes I have to say its fun being a billionaire. Not for long, cowboy. You are finished now, and so is you daddy you scum sucking turd.

The whole stock market is a ponzi scheme, not just these crooks get your money out now while there is still some left. Better to settle for fifty cents on the dollar than ten.

  • Not for long, cowboy.

This crash is no where near to the bottom. The dow will drop to around 3000 by the time its done, and by then, you will see all these scum sucking turd money grubbers run out of the woodpile like a bunch of rats, while their greedy victims who wanted more interest and tax shelters than was possible get screwed. In the end, its the middle class who will be left holding the bag with higher taxes that will be required to pay for these scum sucking swine swindlers.

  • Sir you are a dog... A lowly greed filled dog.

  • " NEWS THIS past week that the FBI was investigating the possibility that Antigua-based Texan billionaire Allen Stanford might have been laundering drug money for the notorious Mexican Gulf Cartel must have raised even more eyebrows locally than allegations of his fraud on a "massive" scale."

    tinyurl(dot)com/dfgo5

  • But Santelli and Hannity love me!

    -- said Stanford

  • "i think we're gonna see alot of problems surface in '09"..hehe how prophetic...

  • He was called "Sir" because he's been knighted.

  • Weird he calls himself "Sir."

  • Well well, what we have here? Another american scam artist? where's the lynching that you folks used to do to negroes, use that on this guy. Frankly someone should invade America now! and spank the shit out of this country. 300million of irresponsible pricks.

  • to bad we would kick the shit out of any country including where ever the hell you are from.

    probably france u fag

  • Fuck you you jingoist cocksucker.

  • Cause that would really fucking work wouldn't it? Lets talk about Americas' dept?

Or even about how many troops and all Americas' fucking equipment is in IRAQ. Seriously. If america had a large scale attack it would be screwed over.. Hard.

  • In early 2009, Stanford became the subject of several fraud investigations, and on February 17, 2009, was charged by the SEC with fraud and multiple violations of U.S. securities laws for alleged "massive ongoing fraud" involving $8 billion in certificates of deposits.

  • Let's wait until his ponzi scheme is discovered ...

  • Wait..why the fuck wouldnt it be fun being a billionaire?

  • I havn't researched it but i'm guessing it would be hard not to have all those business fall over.. Since I THINK his total worth is in those businesss' and not liquid assets.

*Theres always go to be someone who wants to buy your shit.

  • this is a great guy, what is with all the stupid comments below, his family helped pull us through the depression, he saved thousands of jobs in his own company by not being an idiot, true hero this guy is.

  • never mind, i just remembered the earlier story so i guess the jury is still out.

  • You are a truly freakin tool. He is on it you freak. He was one of the chosen ones to benefit from the depression. The depression like todays "global collapse" was engineered by the same crooks who bought up small business for pennies. It was ALL SCRIPTED and they STOLE from Americans to live like kings. He knew this was going to happen today because he is in on it, this is why he "wasn't affected" by it. Don't be so freakin dumb. His family helped pull us through it, dumbest statement EVER.

  • He'll spend the rest of his life in jail for ruining the lives of thousands.

  • Exxodus28, is this comment a joke? I can't tell. In case you didn't hear, his fund was a complete scam, like Madoff?

  • icetray, my comment at the time wasn't a joke. But within what the last 3 days Stanford has refused to talk in court and plead the fifth. My opinion has definitely changed, but the comment was not a joke when I posted it.

  • @Exxodus28 because he was running a ponzi scheme LOL

  • @Exxodus28 Well now I guess you probably know that he is in jail and he recently got his ass kicked and put in the hospital.

  • @Exxodus28 Because he stole $8,000,000,000 dollars and ran from the F.B.I. He finally turned himself in and instead of being arrested on the spot he was served papers and released.

  • @Exxodus28 He was a ponzi billionaire, idiot.

In early 2009, Stanford became the subject of several fraud investigations, and on February 17, 2009, was charged by the SEC with fraud and multiple violations of U.S. securities laws for alleged "massive ongoing fraud" involving $8 billion in certificates of deposits. On February 27, 2009, the SEC amended its complaint to describe the alleged fraud as a "massive Ponzi scheme".[8] He was arrested by the FBI on June 18, 2009.

  • @Exxodus28 Alan stanford ran an $8 billion ponzi scheme thats why.

  • @Exxodus28 Hey genius -- he's in jail because he's a criminal who was operating a ponzi scheme.

  • Lying bastard

  • First 1/4 of 09 is very tough.... But not for him, only for his cus hrmm clie hrmm victims...

  • eat the rich!

  • he is such a con, i can just see it in him.... that chit eat'n grin, a sure give away... so, all that were suckered by him; serves you right...... if everyone gets poorer, do i get richer, since i am already at the bottom?

  • was he knighted? or why are we calling him sir?

  • He probably bought his title from a broke aristocrat.

  • hahaaah

  • No one who is a true American should EVER call another American by any "Royal" title. This is anathema to everything we stand for.

  • agreed, but it would be fun to be a billionaire

  • yeah thats nice to know....but he's a duel citizen, lives in virgin islands and got knighted there for all contribution he did there

  • If he has dual citizenship and he feels the need to be called "Sir" let him depart the country when he is out of prison. Or maybe he will be able to convince the men who will be sodomizing him to call him Sir Fartsalot.

  • @Plutonwolf I thought it was illegal for an American citizen to hold royal titles? unless he/she renounces he/she citizenship? I might be wrong

  • @md991free That was suggested as an Ammendment to the constitution under the "Titles of Nobility Act" in 1810 but is was not ratified by all the states (approx 3/4 of states have not ratified it), so it was never passed into law. Basically, any American Citizen can accept a Knighthood etc. if so offered.

  • @AidestheKiwi Thanks for the info. I though the first president of the US had made it illegal for Americans to hold royal titles, but I was wrong. Thanks for the clarification.

  • Fucking cunt. I hope there's a revolution and his money is taken.

  • What did he do wrong?

  • Uh, defrauded billions of dollars.

  • this makes me sick --- and angry: Stanford you damn bastard!!!

  • haha what a legend.

  • It's fun stealing money.

  • He has my last name. I better find out if I'm related since part of my family is from Texas. I need a jackpot right now lol.

  • let me kno, if it goes thru !! Lol.

  • "Sir" Allen?

  • Yep, that's right! he was knighted by the Commonwealth nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Hence he is a "Sir"!

  • What a crook.
