  • I am new to this. I tried your exercise in this video with you. When I did the first loud sound my throat or vocals reminded me a car with low battery charge or starter problems trying to roll over and start. I also have been struggling with physical health problems for 4 yrs in throat area. I also am a singer song writer and I find I am loosing projection in my vocals and they are quieting down. I will keep doing these exercises and will post back on my progress. Thanks so much!

  • I stammer whenever I talk to someone.Is it because my throat chakra is closed that i stammer?

  • @geturselfbacktowork There's no simple, obvious cause of stammering, but it's likely due to a variety of factors rather than a single one. You should be diagnosed by a speech therapist who can give you specific exercises but some treatments include development of self awareness and assertiveness. I believe a daily meditation practice (w/ focus on your throat Chakra) can help you develop a deeper sense of self which can in turn help you w/ your communications.

  • @asmek420 Apologies to Dawn if I am butting in here, but asme, you sound a bit like a lot of other people I know. And in my experience, I have discovered that "antisocial" is a negative, shaming label used by those who do not understand the introverted souls on this planet. As long as you are expressing your Truth when need be, while being impeccable about it (meaning being kind to yourself and others), then you need not be ashamed of who you are, whatever that means. Namaste to you. :-D

    i have been following your chakra meditation videos and i think you are doing brilliant work. i find your visualization techniques very helpful. the scarf really worked for me, thanks so much :-)

    my teacher has advised me some breathing sets which involves focusing on third eye. im finding it a bit difficult as my mind keeps drifting away.

    please advise on this.

    My next video will help you out, I'll be posting it later today. Just know your mind will drift, its the place where our imagination lives. Try not to force anything while meditating "what you resist persists" when my mind drifts I allow myself to become aware that its drifting & any images that come to me I take a mental note of, I don't allow myself to focus on them too long, instead I mentally place them in a bubble/balloon & let them softly drift away :) DM
