  • ddid you make your butter?

  • @iamsnake21 Yes I did, thank you for commenting, if you go to the channel page and scroll through the videos, I have one called "food storage, canning butter" its super easy and has worked awesome, no fridge needed, its perfect. Thank you for watching.

  • Thank you, deer hunting opener in two weeks, Im sure we will have a few more during that weekend for sure.

  • great vid keep them coming

  • great video, i wont to know where you got your colmen cook oven?

  • I agree about people fussin' to much about germs but back in the day people didn't have 10 people at the meat plant handling their food either. Double yuck on the Vegall but that tater looked mighty fine. All the way around that meal looked mighty tasty. I'd of been grateful for it. Would have been another great day this side of Heaven!

  • Loved your vid. It conjured years of many sweet camping memories. :) I think I'd add one simple step to your food preparation. Washing hands after handling raw meat significantly reduces the chances of cross contamination to non-cooked foods & kitchen items. Contaminated juices & blood on your fingers and palms can come in contact with plates, utensils, kitchen tools, & other things that may ultimately come into contact with your mouth.

Just my thoughts. Again, I enjoyed the vid.

  • @bee13zz Edit Edit Edit, I have hand sanitizer right on the counter and use it quite alot, that said, if I am cooking for myself I am a person who feels that one of the problems with todays society and the fact that we have a drug for everything. The fact that a hundred years ago people did not get to wash there hands and they didnt have the trouble we have with all the food born illness, one reason was there werent that many people, the other, they had natural immunities we dont have now. TY

  • @bee13zz I ran out of characters, I do appreciate the fact that you watched, and I know exactly what your saying, but I am the only one up here and I use that sanitizer all the time, but if I handled the meat and then the potatoes, they then they got cooked and everything died. I feel that todays society because there are so many of us seems to dwell on this when if you watched, everything I touched got cooked beyond any micro organisms chance to live. I feel great today . Thanks again ; )

  • Acccck VEG-ALL !!!!

  • @nagaempress He He He.... you sound like the kids when I make spinach.... Its not about the taste, its about getting what you need into your body. C'mon, vegall isnt THAT bad. lol Thanks for watching : )

  • @JoeandZachSurvival My dad used to have my mother put tha in SALADS right out of the can LOL Maybe it tastes better cooked!

  • @nagaempress Its for sure not the best, but up here I am usually eating foods that are fried, bbq'ed, I use oil, butter etc. When I open a can of VegAll, it has so many different veggies, it almost seems like your eating healthy hahaha Thanks for commenting : )

  • Are you kidding me man! I've never seen turkey fall off the bone like that. A little salt n peppa and I'm in tryptophan heaven!

  • Very cool oven. The food looked great!

  • That looks really wonderful. =)

I wonder if at the end you could un-cover it and the skin would brown and get crispy? That little oven is really a cool little deal.

  • @whimberly1 I actually could have, or I could have browned it before I put it in there so it would have had more color but since I am the only one up here right now so I had no one to make it look good for lol and once I opened it I was rather hungry, I opted to just eat it lol. Thanks Kimberly : )
