@Dashboarders Well start by taking vocal lessons.

Then learn how to use your stomach, head and nose voices, how to switch between them and when to sing from which.

Then stop being embarresed, it can really affect your singing ability.

timing was a little off in a lot of places, and a some high notes were a LITTLE sour, but still very good.

Its pretty hard to modulate your voice like miles kennedy, so this about as close as i'd expect anyone to do without just happening to have the same voice. I liked this video.

I think you sound great...but make sure you do what a lot of singers fail to do: Take deep breaths between lines.... You need enough air to deliver the message.... On higher notes (live) look skyward... It may look dramatic holding your mic straight up, but there is no bend in the throat so you are free to belt it out. In the studio, I like to raise my mic and point it downward so I can slightly look up at it to eliminate as much air restriction as possible...
