@AlxndrJG I used Photoshop. And I have not did in a higher resolution because I was kidding in the beginner. This kind of drawing isn't the kind of the ones I use to sell. My studio is specialized in cartoons. I just did it for fun!

1. Você usa um tablet comum, sem display, né? De acordo com a resposta ao @Ritotho, mas não sei se é um tablet bom. Pode me dizer se é essencial um tablet bom ou apenas saber desenhar/usar o tablet?

2. Você tem algumas dicas de como usar tablet? É meio estranho desenhar no tablet e ver na tela.

Cara, desenhar é isso aí, é não estar conformado nunca! É o único jeito de evoluir.

Esse trabalho foi feito com uma tablet Wacom Graphire (acho que não fabricam mais). No meu estúdio eu até tenho uma Wacom Cintiq 12" (daquelas que tem uma tela), mas acabei deixando para um dos ilustradores que trabalham comigo. Quando eu me dou ao luxo de desenhar hoje, uso uma Wacom Bamboo mesmo, que é a mais simples da Wacom.

@xxbruno992 Acho que uma tablet Wacon como a Bamboo é mais do que o suficiente para desenvolver um bom trabalho.

Quanto a dicas, amigo, só tenho uma: quando comprar sua tablet, joga o mouse fora! De verdade! Se livra dessa merda e em uma semana ou duas, você não vai querer outra vida!

@Zotacoelho Obrigado pela resposta! Eu comprei uma G-Pen 4500 da Genius antes de ler sua resposta, mas realmente já estou fazendo o que você disse. Me adaptei a usar ela e prefiro mil vezes do que mover um bagulho pesado que é o mouse. Até pra jogos eu tô me dando bem com ela, só falta eu aprimorar meu talento em digital painting. Espero um dia gravar vídeos tão bons quanto o seu! Abraço!

Desenhe o tempo todo, mas com vistas a ver os defeitos e resolvê-los, e seu trabalho vai evoluir a olhos vistos. Tem muitos trabalhos de mestres na internet. Tente imitá-los e com o tempo você acaba desenvolvendo o seu próprio estilo.

@Rirotho Eu usei em todo o projeto um pincel duro que varia a opacidade com a pressão da caneta. usei um tablet Wacon Graphire velhinho que até hoje é usado no meu estúdio.

When you start painting. 1st important thing is the light source isn't it? like from where the light is coming and also contrasts. To get something to be photo realistic, is it the detail or what is the important factor of photorealism..?? because i tried i can get something that looks like a painting but not like a picture:(!!!! thats what i wanted to know! any tricks?:D

Use google translate, its very good and works very well!

its two things: knowledge and doing it step by step. first you have to study stuff from live to be able to paint "real-looking stuff"! then, if youre painting, set the brushsize to as big as possible, then if the brush gets too big, make it smaller and paint in smaller details. when done, make it smaller again and so on, until ure done. hope dat helps!

It's not a mouse that I use. It's a pen tablet. A high sensitivity electronic pen. It's the closer I can get to the feeling of drawing or paint on natural media.

I used a mouse for years and, trust me, there's no comparisons between both. :)

Yes. I, sometimes, use the Liquify effect to correct eventual mistakes on proportions. But I do these digital paintings since I bougth a pen tablet, six years ago.

I think the most important tool the software must have to this kind of work is the Multi-Layers capability. This really helps a lot!

I've had the same doubt. I'm self tought and have never had contact with a pen tablet until I bought one. It's a wonderful experience!

Now I'm planning to buy a Cintiq. And again I've never even saw one. I can't imagine the feeling of work with something like that, but as soon as I get the suficient money, I'll try one.

The matter is that in Brazil it's very very very expensive! But I'll get there.

I strongly recomend you to buy one too as soon as you can!

Cara, eu sou autodidata. Não tenho formação superior, então, francamente não sei qual curso poderia passar técnicas assim. Eu estudo na internet, pesquisando, avaliando as ilustrações de gente fera daqui e de fora... enfim, fuçando.

Eu uso às vezes o Photoshop, às vezes o Painter, o Art Rage... às vezes tudo junto embolado. Acho que o importante é o resultado. É bom fuçar um pouco de tudo pra se chegar onde quer.
