I have read that Fat free chocolate milk after a work out is supposed to be better than a whey protein shake. I was going to try this as soon as I use up all my dextrose (big as bulk container) sugar.
Thanks bud, man I always have a post work out carb replacement shake , then within the hour some sort of meat and veggie , I really am pretty inexperienced in macro knowledge , I wish I was more informed , I would have never even thought chocolate milk would have been ok , I would have thought the sugar would have been bad
@knightgabe sugar generally is bad but post workout, you need to replace glycogen stores so that is why a lot of people take in some fruit and a shake or chocolate milk like this guy. post workout, I take in 1 scoop of whey powder with water, 5 grams creatine and a banana. I hit the showers, then get a meal such as chicken (protein), veggies and russet or sweet potato.

@knightgabe Quicker digesting carbs are okay for breakfast pre or post workout. Not recommended for every meal though! lol
