@Mojo1982 There existed a plan for mounting it on a CV90 but it was cancelled because it would "invite to more combat than would be wise" which meant with a gun that big the APC would be forced to take on bigger threats that is wise to take on with such a vehicle.

@HinFoo A CV90120 can take on tanks since the gun is big enough. It is not without problem though, the CV90120 uses a muzzle-break since the recoil is almost to high, the muzzle-break kicks up a lot of dust and give away the vehicles position. That coupled with the lighter armour means it can, but it's not ideal for taking on tanks.

The beggining bit will be real footage, then it will mesh with animation, you cant get a camera to turn that fast.

@shagster1970 There are two ways to do it. One is to run the camera on a sled on top of a rail track. The seld can be accelerated by gas pressure.

The second way is to have a stationary camera, and film a mirror that rotates or is run on a rail. This makes the camera much cheaper and more reliable.

The best part with these type of rounds is that you can´t hide from them very well. If you hide behind a hill the round just need to detonate above you to fill your body with tungsten pellets, and that would not be to nice. And that is only one function of this grenade.

I can imagine this being used for bunker busting operations but the one awesome fact about the AC130 is that the current versions of the plane use ammo that is WWII vintage.

Talk about cost effective, me thinks it would be better for an AC130 that can use the vintage and the newer programmable ammo at the same time.
