All stories like this are the same, the machine is bested by the characters to show that doing them by yourself is better. But honestly, the machine will always produce at that quantity, but the characters can't ALWAYS rush themselves like that. Eventually after a month basis a machine would make more of anything. I love ruining a story :D

This episode confuses me. Flim and Flam were much more efficient and produced much more cider to an equal standard to the Apples until they were rushed. They were trying to show that tender loving care is better than a machine, but the machine was far superior.
