Even tho i think that its unfair that lots of people try to qualify for HOYS for years and still dont get in and she just gets to perform, i still think that its good on her for trying and that is must be sooo scary when you actually get out there that u 4get every thing any way. x

I think that saying anyone can get on a school master and get it doing anything is a right load of shit! ,, you have to know what you are doing! ,, with dressage horses at that level you do anyway ,, on wrong hand movment or squeeze in the sides could have them doing somthing totally wrong ,, afterall they are trained by leg aids and hand movments , position of the body ect,, yes she isnt the best rider by far but by slagging her off so much just makes you look immature ,,

Hoys was amazing once again and i would definately get myself there as soon as i had the chance. Im sure katie has a good dressage horse but it doesnt mean katie isnt riding it. its like going show jumping and goin to the horse, there you go you know what you are doing!! You still have to ride it!! i think she did well personally just to get out there and do it coz it must be quite scary!!!

i think if any one got the chance to do what Katie did they would jump to it . I would. just for the buss of being in the ring. She is just showing dressage is not always serious it's fun too! I don't know why so many of you are slagging her it was only a demo and you can see from the crowd's every one loved it!

no offence to anyone who likes it, but i dont actualy like dresage (probs coz the horses/pony i ride arent well schooled enough to actualy try it) coz it just looks so boring!

trotting round in circles doing flying changes and then (the horses i ride) rearing coz they dont like it coz their to collected.

Maybe katie has money so what even if you have a schoolmaster you still have to ride it I think the negative comments are uncalled for shes out there giving it her all and lets be honest that takes guts your only jealous your not there yourself i have a grand prix dressage horse and they are not like clockwork believe me give her a break shes done a good job stop bitching and ride to the best of your ability and love your horse after all thats why we have them to enjoy !!

Chapman9967 - Can't believe you've got a GP horse or ride at that level. If you did, you'd notice that it was far from a 'good job' and notice the mistakes in Katie's riding??!!! The more advanced riders amongst us know how much skill is required and how long it takes to ride at a half-way competant level. So, we're annoyed that Katie a) thinks she can jump in without the hard work & b) has no self awareness!

Didn't make it there to see this at HOYs so am really glad to get to see some of it here at You Tube. Can't see which one is her from the video but it certainly looks like a good show and the crowds were enjoying it. She is bringing publicity to horse riding - good on her. I would have loved to have been there to see it. Thanks for posting the video.

Why are most so down on Katie Price, maybe she will make it to the top, her trainer Andrew Gould is really good and if she has the determination and spirit she shows here she can do well. Her skill as a rider aside, the thing that disappointed me from her appearence at hoys was the image. Sad that she still felt the need to impose her 'glamour girl' look on the sport, with an apparent lack of clothing under the dressage jacket. Hardly the dress code for someone wanting to be taken seriously in high profile dressage events

i thought she was totally brill, she is definatly not making a mock of the sport and did not look out of place with the pro's. i bet there a very few people who would have the balls to go out and perform having only taken up dressage a few months ago. OH and if you have 8yo's able to perform one and two time changes then i hardly think they would be in a riding school!!!
