Bummer about your arm - I hope you had a good attorney and it wasn't a relative's balcony. You're young enough and technology is advancing fast enough that you'll be able to use your arm again. In the meantime, I don't know what your finger mobility is, but you might check out the dvorak one-handed keyboard layouts - no need to change your physical keyboard, it's a software setting, and most operating systems have them already installed. If you can only use one hand, they'll make typing easier.
yea i've looked at those one handed keyboards. not really for me & i'm pretty damn fast at typing on a reg keyboard. but i've never actually used one...so i guess i can't really say that. thanks for the suggestion
I said it wrong - you keep your keyboard, but you can just change a setting that re-maps the keys. It's one mouse click to flip back and forth. I went to two-handed dvorak after nearly thirty years as a qwerty touch typist when arthritis got me, and it's a much more logical layout with less finger movement. Drives my wife nuts when she gets on my computer, but she's figured out all she has to do is click in the keyboard icon to flip it back to qwerty. But if what you're doing works, rock on!
pretty good for doing 50 vids with one hand
