I think the term "jrock" is just in general what the music is: Rock from Japan. Sure, there are many bands that aren't visuel kei, but usually when people refer to "jrock", they usually just mean rock from japan. There are more specific names for different groups, but that's just really a generalization. Just saying...It doesn't really matter much. It's still Jrock and we love it.

I used Soulseek, it's a file sharing client, that's where I get the majority of my j-music. But if you want the cd, go check out CDjapan or YesAsia. Those are the two most reliable sites, I hate having to risk it with others. Oh and try not to get stuff of E-bay because they're mostly Bootlegs (especially MIYA, damn them I almost bought a really good bootleg from them once) Support the artist ^_^ it's great to have the CD and teh quality is much better

Babe it's all the same to me. I've been in the J-rock/VK scene for a long time. I tend to place music in broad categories because the specifics are restricting on many levels. Visual Kei or no, it's still rock and it is in fact 100% from Japan and that equals J-rock. Enough said. I'm too lazy to argue any further. And apparently you don't know that girls can in fact be considered "gay" as it's used in place of "homosexual" which means you are attracted to the same gender. Know your connotation.
