  • No Cris Oliva? This list wouldnt crack my top 20 except for lynch and Malmstein. Dude you need to listen to more tunes id say. Peace

  • you never listen to white lion? van halen? marty friedman?

  • Ronnie Le Tekro, nice

  • Man I just love ya. I was wondering: "which solo have he chosen for George Lynch? In My Dreams?" Hah, matched perfectly. Very underrated but one of the best guitarists.

  • @Balddi7 Yes, I chose the solo from "In My Dreams"

  • you forgotten eddie van halen

  • Where is Jake E. Lee?

  • ummmm...Marty?

  • First of all Warren is better than crosby,,and Randy was better than George also for got jake, friedman, mustaine, batio, skolnic, adrian is better than murray,I am glad I saw Reb in there though!!

Ok list but I can tell its all your opinion and not fact LOL!!

  • Robbin Crosby.....No way. A lot of things can be debated but not that one.LOL

  • Some unique picks here. Am also somewhat surprised to see Robbin Crosby included in this group (RIP), and I was unable to identify #8 and #10??

  • Indeed Vivian Campbell was awesome. It sucks that he's become such a douche. All he does now is whine about how much he doesn't like this music.

  • @ilikehairbands Vivian Campbell will whore himself out to any band.

  • only van halen can be over yngwie in the 80's

  • George Lynch will always be my all time favorite!

  • Robin Crosby died of aids

  • George Lynch is my favorite

  • what is the song on crosby coz im a ratt fan

  • @LCkidguitar Ratt - Wanted Man

  • @LCkidguitar if ur a ratt fan u would have known that lol

  • No Gary Moore, Vinnie Moore or Tony Macalpine? All three of which would absolutely piss on half of your list.

  • where's kirk hammett ?

  • Do you think Robbin Crosby was cute or something. I think you lost many of us there. Nice guy RIP but the guy was not a good guitar player.

  • @Explorer766 No, I just think that he offered alot to heavy metal guitar in the 80's.

  • @HeavyMetalDude1994 Honestly, I think his type led to the demise of 80's metal. Big hair, poser, and lean on musical talent. If you go back to the roots of metal, even 1980 - 1984, you needed to be an extraordinary guitar player/band to have success. Ratt had some redemption in DeMartini but was a movement in the wrong direction, the direction that eventually made the average listener ask themself, "do I really like this music?"

  • @Explorer766 Yeah. Crosby?! Da fuck!

  • @Explorer766 yes he was u dumbshit he held it together for ratt on the rhythm

  • @TheSupersabby Yeah, I'm not sure what your sloppy little groan there is referring to.

  • dont forget Criss Oliva!

  • cool cool, how bout Michael Schenker too lol, and John Sykes

  • I'd say Adrian Smith > Dave Murray. Murray and Gers mostly play backup lead to Smith now.

  • @bladerunner12 Murray has been on everything. And he is just as good as Adrian. Janick could be lost though.

  • I am the ultimate metal fan

,and I do not agree this list, I can see your tributes, but you need to do more research, cause I was there at the Wiskey and the Rodeo and I have seen it all from stage to back stage and you missed a

  • @blueeyedsouthern Yes, I'm sure that i've been missing a lot of great artist. This list is based on my top 10 favourite guitarplayers in the 80's. They are also a huge influence for me.

  • JASON BECKER,MAY GOD GIVE HIM A BREAK AND LET HIM PLAY AGAIN :(

  • Where is EVH. Without EVH there would be no George Lycnh and DeMartini. They both list EVH as an influence...
