The HAIRS providing your (mitchondrial) DNA would be expected to be found, and are null.

So the people sayin "guilty they admitted it!" have zero clue what an Alford plea is huh? An Alford plea allows the accused to assert their innocence,but at the same time admit that the prosecution had a case and was rightful in their prosecution. The Alford plea is a technique the state can use when they fuck up to ensure no legal action can be taken against them..its specifically to release the wrongfully imprisoned but ensures that they cannot sue for wrongful arrest. The defense gave them a compromise to end it now and save face (and money for the state).

I think Echols for sure is not guilty. I think they were "fringe of society" guys that were witch hunted by a bunch of dumb, beer sipping, angry rednecks. I believe the state should pay them for all the time they took from these guys. And, I think that the death penalty should never ever be used unless guilt can be 100% proven. Have you noticed the dubiousness of the evidence? If they are guilty, then the physical evidence should reflect the testimony and "confessions", but they don't.
The prosecution had nothing to tie them to the crime. The jurors that are speaking up now even say that. That is why the foreman (Kent Arnold) introduced Miskelley's "confession". Which was EXTREMELY ILLEGAL I might add.
At least 2 jurors have confirmed that also.

@imaStonesFan @imaStonesFan Jessie is mentally challenged. His case parallels many other cases JUST LIKE IT. It doesn't take much to get much to get a mentally challenged person to admit guilt. I can cite another case just like this one where a person was sure they did it because the police told him he did. Only for evidence to prove later on that he didn't do it.

@imaStonesFan Then you don't understand the mentality of the community that accused them. They were VERY conservative. They didn't look too kindly down on them for wearing black or listening to heavy metal (which I like too). They associated those things with satanism, which lead them to being tied into the crime, and all of the subsequent BS that followed.

Damien and Jason were convicted because Kent Arnold, the foreman of their jury, introduced the "confession" during deliberations because the jury was going to vote not guilty. What he did was a farce to justice. He even bragged it about to a lawyer. It breaks every code and ethic about our justice system.
The state's evidence was good enough then, and it won't be now.

@Xawthem Well if it turns out i`m wrong i will personally come back to this video and be the first one to admit it.It`s the confession that has convinced me beyond a reasonable doubt. I was wrong about some guy before ,i thought he was innocent and argued he was innocent. Never any proof he did the crime...THEN about 4 years later he kills someone else and it was plenty proof on that crime.

Apparantly you haven't been keeping up. All of the evidence in the case that was collected was retested and found no trace of DNA that connects to the WM3. DNA belonging to another profile was located though. Evidence of INNOCENCE. They don't have Terry Hobbs profile on record (HINT the defense does).

Plz don't misunderstand . As a parent of 3 I can't imagine the murderers getting away with this , but at the same time if we have the wrong guys being punished this crime will be gotten away with . That leaves alot of dead bodies and broken hearts from both sides. I can't change your mind and you can change mine . I can understand the passion ppl feel towards a case like this , what I don't get is the ones that fight for the death of ppl based on what the T.V. said. READ . Is it not worth it and the responsibility of us all to make sure we are getting justice and not possibly adding to the list of victims ?

@WillExposeYou The two hairs you call DNA evidence have no logical bearing on the guilt or innocence of the convicted. Look at it objectively. Does it prove that Damien and co. didn't do it? No. Does it prove that someone else did? No. It is null. In some instances DNA can prove to be a smoking gun of innocence - for instance semen from rape victim or attacker blood on a murder victim. The HAIRS providing your (mitchondrial) DNA would be expected to be found, and are null.

@CrusaderEmber What did the state use to put an 18 y/o on death row and lock up two other boys for the rest of their lives ? Their lives - What if it's a mistake - You can not undue death and I certainly don't want to take away from the death of those murdered children , at the same time I cannot see killing or taking away the lives of there other ppl and the families they also leave behind. There was no real evidence in this case and certainly not enough for this outcome

After I watched all the documentaries on this case I have to admit that we should not let go any of this WM3 because they are the right ones!
I know its not what many of you want to hear but you know when you did not do such a serious crime like this and you got blamed then I WOULD JUST SHOUT DAY AND NIGHT!
But all the 3 just accept it in silence on their 1st trial.
