Actualy no, there were 5 origanal churches Antioc,jeruselem,alexandria,ro­me and constandinople. The ecumenical councels were held in jerusim first and then antioc and then Constandinople. Rome broke off with different doctrine starting from about 500 the final break was 1023aprox. Rome did not start christianity.
