The fact is that people marched under false pretenses. Most of that has been exposed now, though many people don't realize it. It is sad that as many people were willing to march without knowing any facts about what happened.

After the nooses were hung, the police took no action against the perpetrators of that hate crime. If they had, and arrested those who did it, there would have been no need for the fight. But with no support from local law enforcement, what choice did they have?
