I might as well answer the question: technology is simply a tool. There are those that can use it well and those that... "need more time in the lab". Everyone has been there at one time. What you're question really denotes is an uncertainty on how the independent scene is looked at by the masses. YOU guys are in a great position to help the masses perceive the indie scene better.
