It is possible a wind, and/or the tide shifting parted the lake, and when the egyptians followed, the wind and/or tide stopped it's effect, causeing the water level to rise, and drowing the egytians.

Many of those books clearly state that they were sealed until the herald come. If one does not have the key to the prophecies in the OT, then one does not have the key to the book of Revelation either.

Ever since I first came across this theory, I have wondered exactly how the person behind it reasoned. And since when did Volcanos sound like hornes? Not to mention the other details ignored in the story.
Personally, the first thing I was thinking when I read how "The Lord descended upon fire" after having ordered Moses and the Israelites to seal of the whole area for safety-reasons, was a landing of a alien rocketship.

Certainly tfoot is no scholar but these verses do concur in establishing the superstition of volcanic eruption as deictic manifestation. @daexion, biblical scholars agree that the book of Revelation is compilation of earlier prophecies given to the Jewish prophets. Many of those books clearly state that they were sealed until the herald come. If one does not have the key to the prophecies in the OT, then one does not have the key to the book of Revelation either.

@academysounds Biblical scholars often disagree on a great many things, and there are multiple interpretations of Revelations, including mine. Some do not agree that the book of Revelations is simply a compilation of earlier prophecies. I honestly think that you are ignoring certain aspects of Revelations including the point in time it was written, where it was written, and what was happening at that time.

@daexion. To begin with a biblical scholar cannot understand the prophecies if they do not understand spiritual symbology, I have proven this time and time again. One as to be a mystic and a healer to truly understand what was sealed until the end.
