Actually, the incipit of this aria is "Miseri sventurati". There's a mistake in the booklet and in your spelling. But the aria and the singing are gorgeous, Gauvin is brave enough to transcend Curtis' rather dull direction. This should be more "sensitivo" ! But she's one of the very few baroque singers that can trill.

@cleyyyment Thanks for the correction. I have made the change in the video description, but the error in the video will have to remain. This is one of my earliest videos, and I was still learning how to use iMovie. My newer videos are so much better than this, as my early videos were basically practice lessons where I taught myself how to use the software.

I, too, am very fond of Ms. Gauvin's singing.
