This video was taken from the 1971 summer tour when The Osmonds release their first "Live" album recorded at the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles, California. As was "Go Away little Girl", "One Bad Apple", "Double Lovin", "Yo Yo" and "Sweet & Innocent".
Was so happy to see this song up and posted. Thanks!! Donny & his brothers were my idols from my teen years. Donny posters on the walls & ceiling and played their records until they wore out and had to go buy new ones. This song brought up so many memories of a time that was "Sweet and Innocent".

I've seen Donny in concert about 10 times as an adult and he still is an awesome performer.
Believe it or not, it was Elvis who suggested they where the same kind of suits. They used Elvis's designer. Elvis was a fan of the family and he use to call their mother often because she reminded him of his mother who had already passed. The family performed in Vegas same time Elvis did. They were close friends.
When I see this old clip, instead of feeling like I'm a 50-year old woman, I still feel like the 11-year old girl with a mad crush on Donny. All of a sudden it's 1970 again. Amazing how we can go back in time and feel as if we're right back there again!!!
I also recall this music, when i was little my dad played it in the car, im so glad i found it,but it makes me remember memories and i cant deal with it because i just realized how much i miss being a kid, and now 16 year its over..How do you cope with it?

It's amazing that a kid who seemed so at ease on stage would develop "anxiety" problems in his 20 and 30's about performing....He was seems to love the crowds.
Cherry: LOL...give the kid some credit. He has to sing LIVE and dance a little (most boybands completely lipsynch now). He can't do a full dance routine or he'll get to winded. Donny was probably the best dancer of the group. And geez...he's only like 13 or 14 here? He's doing pretty well...LOL.
I still have my ticket stub for The Osmonds' August 13, 1972 concert, Garrett Coliseum , Montgomery,AL . I had a blast, I just went to watch the girls but became a Osmond fan an I still am.
I saw the Osmonds twice in concert in Allentown, PA. I was in love with Donny, my bedroom was purple and I still remember his favorite sandwich was peanutbutter, with bananas, or something like that. His b-day is 12/9/57. I lost ALL my Osmond albums years ago when our basement flooded.

When I see this old clip, instead of feeling like I'm a 50-year old woman, I still feel like the 11-year old girl with a mad crush on Donny. All of a sudden it's 1970 again. Amazing how we can go back in time and feel as if we're right back there again!!!

I also recall this music, when i was little my dad played it in the car, im so glad i found it,but it makes me remember memories and i cant deal with it because i just realized how much i miss being a kid, and now 16 year its over..How do you cope with it?

It's amazing that a kid who seemed so at ease on stage would develop "anxiety" problems in his 20 and 30's about performing....He was seems to love the crowds.

Cherry: LOL...give the kid some credit. He has to sing LIVE and dance a little (most boybands completely lipsynch now). He can't do a full dance routine or he'll get to winded. Donny was probably the best dancer of the group. And geez...he's only like 13 or 14 here? He's doing pretty well...LOL.

I still have my ticket stub for The Osmonds' August 13, 1972 concert, Garrett Coliseum , Montgomery,AL . I had a blast, I just went to watch the girls but became a Osmond fan an I still am.

I saw the Osmonds twice in concert in Allentown, PA. I was in love with Donny, my bedroom was purple and I still remember his favorite sandwich was peanutbutter, with bananas, or something like that. His b-day is 12/9/57. I lost ALL my Osmond albums years ago when our basement flooded.

My sis used to watch them on AndyWilliams and when they struck out on their own, she dragged me to see them at the Spectrum in Philly in 1972. I was 13. I'd liked this song, but when Donny did it LIVE, TWANG!!.. I was hooked from then on.

I truly am brought back to my childhood. Donny was the first poster I ever had on my wall. Every Hit Parade and Tiger Beat edition was in my room!!! Such great memories... Thx for posting....

Oh God how Donny was my first major crush-ola. All I can say is there isn't much good music today. most of it is such trash, but listening to music I grew up with my dad's old 45's and albums I have to say that my favorite musice is yesteryear music, not the crap that's being played now. ugh.

Well, judging by his hair cut and the roundness of his face and being the Donny-nerd that I am I would say he was 13 going 14 in this clip. His first song after his voice broke was 12th of Never. This I reckon is b4 the came to the UK in 72 (he 14/15) then, OH good grief I could take an exam in Osmondology.....I'll shut up. LOL

Oh my gosh, I gotta talk to you!! You know your Osmond trivia! I think Donny was younger than 13 in this video, but we need to figure it out. I just posted a question asking if anyone knew for sure how old he was here...and yes, you are correct, his first song after his voice broke WAS the 12th of Never, and his voice was still GREAT, and still is GREAT and I do believe I am still in love with him at age 47...looking forward to a reply from you...
