Instead of a backing if I wanted to sew another piece of fabric (like the seat top )

how would I do that? I need to make a porch swing seat --need it to be of fabric on all sides

@pariapsara You probably want to look up how to make a box pillow and simply apply your desired dimensions.

Awesome video - thanks this is helpful. I'll be making a fireplace seat cushion and this fits the bill. Only problem - is I had my speakers turned up all the way and the audio levels are low. Otherwise - cool beans.

Fantastic step by step! I'm getting ready to make seat cushions for my hombuilt airplane and this was exactly what I was looking for. It is one thing to visulize in your mind the steps, but much nicer to be able to watch someone else do int.
