I'm a "young teenage hotshot", and I love it! You guys aren't old. Hell, I've been doing parkour since I was 14, and I still can't do dash vaults. Keep at it, guys, you rock! =)
Be kind to your knees! Especially for those of us getting up in the years, make sure you work on your dropping and rolling form as much as you can, keep your legs well conditioned, and be verrry careful about any drops you do. Even young teenage hotshots are dropping out due to knee pain due to progressing too fast. Take it slow!
It's good to see to see parkour being taken up by people other than teenaged and twentysomething guys. Like beachbangin said, try to work on those rolls a bit. The ones you do are great for martial arts or gymnastics, but can get you hurt in parkour. If you do a search for Team Ukemi's rolling tutorial, you'll find a good vid on how to properly execute a pk roll.
Train hard, train safe, and keep on putting out those vids!
I am loving the moves, and I am loving that you're not too self-conscious to put yourselves out there in good humour while you're still learning. But mostly, I am loving the pink pants.
I give you props guys. This comes to show that PK can be done by anyone. Make sure to train safe. You can check out my conditioning videos and tutorial for help if you need it. Great work.
great stuff right there. You guys keep up the good work. I watch enough parkour movies to see that you guys are progressing very well. The thing about parkour is just keep practicing. But make sure you do it correctly. One thing us younger guys have on you is we heal a bit quicker so make sure you guys try to work on the proper techniques. expecially that roll. you save your self alot of pain doing it like beachbangin suggest. here is a site with different moves and how to exicute them.
the videos were posted as an amusement to our office, where the entire company comes to watch three middle aged computer programmers try to do something about their flab. We are very serious about parkour, but we are seriously bad.
@HamletDRC i started tooo except im 14. u have potential like others say but to be honest u do need work too. i have videos on my friends account kingofskate08 subsribe because soon i will be posting another vid about me and my enmtire parkour crew. but if u are seriuos just keep working cuz one day u will succed i believe in you
Your rolls should be exicuted from shoulder to hip in a diagonal line across your back to brotect your spine. Good try but like you should listen to what i say in my comment on "old man parkour 5" it will help you loads. If you need any questions ask me and i'll help ya best i can.
I wouldn't say it's dominated by high school boys. You get what you put in. You guys have some potential, but some of those drops definitely looked painful. Everything between 00:34 and 1:00 probably should be removed from repeating. It just didn't look like yall were ready for it at all. Keep up the training though!
Well you got linked on the front page of american parkour so you might get quite a few people watching this. Anyway, you guys are not bad for where your starting from, I'm sure its hard to get your selves to move in such a drastically different way.Keep up the training.
i'm watching this...and think i still have a chance to start with this :))) thanks for motivation

If you tagged this as funny then are implying that these videos of you are to make fun of parkour, yourselves or both? Clear the air for me here.

Let's just say that none of us are 40 yet and leave it at that. In a sport dominated by High School Boys, it's like being a 30 something gymnast.

thanks, we never thought anybody but our wives and children would watch it so some of the video is a bit rough.
