People who hadn't known me as a little kid told me about THEIR "punk days". They said I'd "outgrow" it. I'm 31, and I am a bigger version of that 7 year old. Now I get ridiculed for FAILING to "outgrow" my ideals. Giving up your ideals is not growth. I've grown in to it. I'll continue to grow. It grows with me, and in me.
