@Qwertacious The 333SP isn't a loud car, I had seen this car in action at Lemans back in 1997 when it competed against the Mclaren F1 LMR , Porsche GT1, and Nissan R390. The Mclaren with the BMW V12 could be heard miles away from the circuit, while the Ferrari could only be heard once you where standing at the side of the track as it went by the corner.

@Twin540i And IMSA GTP and later WSC rules had 108 dB noise limit. I don't know what was ACO noise limit in late 90's but it's now 112 db, so still 4 decibels higher than 90's IMSA GTP cars had to live with. And as you know, 3 decibels=double the noise.

this cars engine is a 4.0L naturally aspirated ferrari V12 with 600hp. it was a beast in 1993 but is now outdated. they even replaced the engine with a JUDD engine so that it may remain competitive to modern cars. classic anyway

So, this is the sound of a Formula One engine fitted with appropriate mufflers; Originally, F1 engines simply have exhaust manifolds with headers but doesn't have mufflers. In Endurance racing, the rules enforce that all their engines have an appropriate muffler; in return, and in particular, this Ferrari 333SP made a beautiful exhaust note with those mufflers on.
