Although Ralph Nader and Ron Paul disagree about a few issues (e.g. healthcare), I hope that in the near future these two men collaborate in some way. If they were running mates for the presidency and vice-presidency I'm certian that they would make a world of difference if elected. From the UK. The national heath service is shocking some times,you just go where they send you and cross your fingers.
They do pay people to stay at home here though,paying their rent(up to 20 grands a year....that's UK pounds!!!) and spending money,furniture,decorating.If you have a disability(like stress) you can get even more,maybe a car!!

I like Nader. He is great on speaking out against the American Empire and police state, but I completely disagree with him on issues like universal health care and living wages. I think its contradictory that he throws out Franklin's quote about people giving up liberty for safety and deserving neither while at the same time advocating a universal health care system that promotes safety of health over liberty.

We, and 600 other countries and territories unwittingly worship a model of corruption we refer to as the GDP equation. C + I + G + (X - M).
What may at first seem innocuous rewards corruption and it is systemic. Economics is the heart of our modern society and GDP is a countrys measure of economic health. GDP in the present form is a root cause of many if not all of our problems.
Dividing GDP by government spending will reward wise spending and reduce or eliminate corruption.

cecil- Well now the US controls much of the weather by use of the HAARP. It really seemed unimaginable when I first heard about it in the early 1990s but its true. Check it out on YouTube. Its a terrible device used by terrible human beings with absolutely horrific results. Where do we as the " common people " begin to actually begin to take back our country and change its direction so as to avoid misusing these types of weaponry?

Haarp has been around for years. based in alaska. was based on some of Tesla's experiments. it DOES NOT control the weather you idiot. its simply bouncing electromagnetic waves off of clouds. that's it. Honestly, the average American is not an individual thinker and generally believes all that is presented to them via our media. Much of that is propoganda, but that is a whole additional discussion.
Either one of 2 things need to happen:
1)A free thinker like Nader needs to gain power.
2)Our civilization needs to completely crumble in order to be rebuilt with the interests of its citizens at the forefront of it's base, which was mentioned by cheemooo.

You might try viewing zeitgeistmovie(dot)com. There are 2 films(lengthy) and it may come across(at first)as complaining, but the opposite is true. The films offer solutions

It proves as a tool that is paramount for us(all people in world) to create a dialogue about general problems and actually create solutions instead of whining and complaining and blaming another for your troubles.

Marjar, it is refreshing to hear the truth from a politicians mouth. You can readily hear the truth when that politicians "15 minutes" are over, but it is absolutely necessary to hear people like Nader when they're in the process of running for a position!
We need to eliminate the 2 main parties and do it now! Currently, the only accomplishment separate parties can achieve is division. The majority of what I see in discussions between parties is just simple childish fighting. = ZERO SOLUTIONS!
