Is it a progressive frame by frame scan?...or the years old 3/2 pulldown process which leaves you with a 'blurred' frame every two or three frames? Do all of your machines have 5 blade shutters on them, instead of three?

And how many lines of resolution on those old circa 1989 Elmo movie transfer projectors you use? Perhaps 250 lines of resolution, which is about as clear as old VHS? Please let us know a little more about your gear/process. I would steer clear at this point.
