You could buy rally ready cars like this for $700,000 its some pretty expensive stuff goes into these, honey comb doors advanced computer system and the safety. Then theres the upkeep from racing the motor refresh is about 10,000 the first then 50,000 depending on the races, sponsership is a must
I saw in another video of Crawford actually building it that it took over 800 hours to build...thats some serious labor costs. Plus parts, and the cost of the actual sti. I mean it's anybody's guess, but I'd say close to $100,000. I could be way off though, thats just my rough estimate.

yeah read an interview with ken on the way this car is set up it's not fully race tuned its tuned to do all the slidey stuff so the slolum and breaking is going to be kinda bad compared to a race car

There is no way this car cost less than $100,000 to build, the car is at least half carbon fiber, and seeing as it was built by a shop, labour ain't cheap. they have like 5 sets of volk wheels, engine internals+turbo fab, that roll cage is insane. for anyone who thinks otherwise just watch how much work went into it in the build video

now im a ford guy me self i own a fiesta st with a turbochrged kit on it an ive wiped subaru's off my rear view mirror loads of times an i think he will do well but my heart still wants to be in the subaru purely because the sound an the passion that goes into them what every one else think

yeah read an interview with ken on the way this car is set up it's not fully race tuned its tuned to do all the slidey stuff so the slolum and breaking is going to be kinda bad compared to a race car

i dont watch rally that much so yeh there just my favorites i just watch some stuff one here and i like then cos they driver subarus and there my favorite car because they have boxer engines and the sound of them and everything lol

There is no way this car cost less than $100,000 to build, the car is at least half carbon fiber, and seeing as it was built by a shop, labour ain't cheap. they have like 5 sets of volk wheels, engine internals+turbo fab, that roll cage is insane. for anyone who thinks otherwise just watch how much work went into it in the build video

@hacker1462 it gets that much horsepower after how much money was sunk into. I'm glad a person can sink thousands of dollars into a 4 banger to beat a stock ZR1. Take that same ZR1, and sink the same amount of money into that, and watch the horsepower jump.
