@dmcarden , What the real Issues is that a wrong understanding of Jesus teaching is blocking the Christians from awakinging to there own Divine nature. it was in 324 AD that the docritine that Jesus is GOD almighty that was given the stamp of approval by the Roman Ruler Constatine. He whated to unite christianity so he could unite the Roman Empire. SO he used Goverment athority to ban desenting views about who Jesus was. IT was political interferance that caused this problem.
I hear the man direct questions that put the faith of both Eckankar and this other religion in a bad lite. Yes there are things about eckankar that are include other religions but in the christian religion the birth of christ and the dates that are celebrated are taken from the pagan religions that were around at the time christianity started. As one religion dies another continues on and takes from it. Eckankar will also do that with christianity. It gives people another choice.

Yeah but you will find the Catholic church tests her mystics against known revelation and reason. Our system requires it follow the test of non-contradiction. As opposed to Eastern Philosophy which violates non-contradiction in its essential teachings. We just don't make it up like new agers do.
When A Catholic Mystic contradicts known reason or revelation, they are not-approved. Consider: Molinos, Madam Guyon, Petrucci, Malaval, Jansen, or even today Bayside.
Why did Twitchell appear to you and not to the 6 billion other people in the world?
And what of those who have never heard of Eckankar? I just heard about it today. Is that why I have not recieved dreams from Twitchell? Also, why would you trust your dreams? I would certainly need ALOT of more tangable and/or historical proof, because I do not trust my own heart, for the heart is unknown, and only fools follow it.
