The argument made by Christians is that God is the Creator of logic and reason and is therefore external to it. You're stating that God is insufficient because He would require a moral source. Christians state that God is the ABSOLUTE moral source. In fact what makes him wholly other is His total self-sufficiency. The same as God is not bound by the laws of science (which He created) he is not confined by the limitations of man (which He created).

In attempt to answer your question I will submit that many theologians have argued that the creation as a whole is an exposition of God's deity. The argument made by Christians is that God is the Creator of logic and reason and is therefore external to it. You're stating that God is insufficient because He would require a moral source. Christians state that God is the ABSOLUTE moral source. In fact what makes him wholly other is His total self-sufficiency. The same as God is not bound by the laws of science (which He created) he is not confined by the limitations of man (which He created).

I dunno, you'd have to ask Him. :) That fact about God isn't why I am a Christian, it just happens to be the case with regard to what God has revealed about Himself to us. In attempt to answer your question I will submit that many theologians have argued that the creation as a whole is an exposition of God's deity. Frankly, I haven't looked that deeply into it, because a god who is not self-sufficient HAS a god. Man is not self-sufficient, I would point out.
