Barbara's voice and vocal talent is a rare treasure that has withstood nearly 5 decades of time and wear, yet, she sounds as wonderful or even better than when I first heard her perform as Marion the librarian in the 1960's! It was so gratifying to see her honored last week at the Kennedy Center ceremony.

Barbara Cook has finished at the top as the best singer.and entertainer today, at age 81! How high can your endless talent take you. Only Barbara knows how wonderful it has been for her.but we have also shared in the heartfelt joy she 's given us.

Heard her only last night in Southern California inaugurating the new Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Honestly, at 80, she keeps getting better. She's one of a kind.
