Hell ya bro, good stuff.Have fun with it,and you are totally right about how bracing displaces internal volume. The more and more extreme a build becomes the more noticeable every little change becomes...i found some adhesives (inexpensive) @ home depot Loctite pl advanced..its the bomb on the cheap! Im experimenting with it now,ill shoot you a heads up on my results:)
Don't worry about the tuning. If you put 2 more braces in there so have 1 front/back, side/side, bottom/top you only change your tuning like 0,3-0,5 hz and you wont notice that :)
Also, see if you can change the screws in the port. What you want is a screw with a head that's not V shaped. Don't know the word for it, but you want thr screw that's flat on the underside of the head. I hope you know what I mean :P
i think this is the second time i left a comment but i have a qusetion? do you think you could make a vid about how you box defines your tuning i know you know more than me so just the basics would be great
@casperskafs meter it when u get a chance. then invert the port so it extends outside the box. turn the port to face the driver side of the trunk (wheel well) not into the car. it should be louder.
good info to know here man i thought to use that weatherstrip but i wasnt sure how it would turn out and i see it works really well so i know now that i can replicate this as well with positive results
for the port bro grab your cauk get a rubber glove and fill behind your port will seal it perfectly i used to do it to the speaker terminals on those factory sealed boxes
It's always great when you build your stuff yourself.. I dont know but i like to think that this is something i made and for that it's just that much more special and maybe even better than someone elses is that has been bought from store.. Same with all the car customization.. if you do it yourself you can be proud, if you buy your car already tuned its just meh tuned car that you dont know shit about.. Respect on the self building m8!
Looks like a good built box !!

@michael987655678 What exactly do you mean by defines. Do you mean like how different tuning makes different sounds and pics up different notes?

hi!:) i just ordered a Rockford Fosgate Prime 500.1 amp 500 rms at 2 ohm
And i have 1 Kicker 12 Comp 150/300 rms and a Kicker 12 Cvr 400 rms

Thx:)
