@losing2woody Alas I don't think I could do justice to any Townes song at this point, but maybe I can cook something up. Speaking, somewhat tangentially, about Townes, my favorite record at the moment is by his namesake Justin Townes Earle-- called Harlem River Blues. Highly recommend it. The title track and a tune on side B called Christ Church Woman stand out particularly.
