I guess that Canadian and American values are quite different when it comes to politics. I look at McCain, Obama and Clinton and I don't see them winning any Canadian elections... For the record, I'm neither red or blue. Gravel's family is french canadian by the way. I had no idea.

Gravel is the only good democratic candidate left. I was supporting Kucinich until he ended his candidacy. Kucinich would have gotten us out of Iraq right away too. They (Pelosi and AIPAC) bullied him into getting out of the race to keep his congressional seat. At least that's the story going around.

i have been so disappointed in the debates that the very candidates who talk about hope are not willing to talk about the very real reasons to despair. Recognizing these reasons is the first step to finding real, responsible solutions--solutions that will require more from individuals. Mike Gravel was on the Commonwealth Club Dec 21. What an amazing, straight forward candidate! I haven't seen him on "Meet the Press" or any of the other Sunday Political News shows. They should have him on ASAP before it's too late! Listen to the Commonwealth Club program if you can for now. He has plans for the future prosperity of America AND the entire planet.
