Ok, alright. This shouldnt have happened, but not knowing exact details, I will speculate. I would assume that since a crime was being committed at that time as stating in the video, a possible "adrenaline rush" could have taken place with the cop. When the young man that was shot comes out of his house "In the middle of the night" as stated in the video, holding "a dark object" also stated in the video, while very careful to protect his life, could EASILY mistake the stick as a gun.
