I went to Tahiti both bora bora & Moorea in 1987. Spent a week at both & like your friend said did not want to come back. Unbelievable tranquility. It's a shame they have developed bora bora so much since I was there. Seeing these pictures makes me miss it from 20 years ago. Very undeveloped back then one generator for the whole Island on bora bora. Island is only 22 miles around. I might have to make my own youtube video of it I have pictures I took thru rainbows from the plane that are awesome

I love Bora Bora!!! It's my favorite place in the world. I've been there twice in the past few years, first at The Pearl Beach Resort for the Tahiti Dive Festival, and at Le Meridien. Amazing!!! It doesn't get more exotic than staying in an overwater bungalow with a glass floor! Bora Bora is the most beautiful island in the world. Come see my Bora Bora videos and photos on my page, too!
