And remember, the Mishnah is nothing but the speculation of one rabbi commenting on a fable. Yet this rabbi’s comments are repeated almost word-for-word in the Qur’an. The muses of a mere human become the Qur’anic holy writ, and were attributed to God. That’s real embarrassing.

@Osamabindansker - The simplest answer is that Christian's don't believe God is gods. The trinity is often labeled as the "three-in-one." You may ask, how can something be both three and one? An excellent question. The "three" and the "one" refer to different things. God is one being (one essence), and yet this one essence has three persons. Humans only have one person per essense, thus the confusion and lack of perfect analogy. Yet, it is no contradiction. God is one being/essence.

Allah is Arabic for God. In Arabic Christian Bibles, Allah is God. One of Prophet Mohammed's companion Uthman ordered the original Quran, from Yemen, to be destroyed and changed the language and meaning of it. So what causes many Muslims to say that the original Quran remains untouched. No where in the Quran says a man should have four wives; the Quran says if you cannot treat them all 100% equal then you should not. It is not humanly possible to treat multiple wives the same on any level.

For example, his wives as "mothers of the believers" were not allowed to remarry after him [Qur'an 33: 53]. If the Prophet were required to divorce wives beyond the maximum of four, it would have done them injustice

In Catholicism, one can confess his sins to a priest, but you do not direct your prayers through a priest. 2.) Yes, Jesus is an intermediary between God and man, but you cannot leave out a fundamental belief that Jesus is God. Therefore, it is directing prayers straight to God and placing no one before Him. Anything else is a misrepresention.

@Osamabindansker - Note that I am not Catholic. I do not confess my sins to a priest, but want to be fair with another's theological beliefs, rather than making straw men out of them. Of course a Catholic does not believe that a priest is God. Can you not think of other reasonable explanations for confessing your sins to another man? There are actually some ways that sharing your struggles with other men can help you overcome them. Could God use this to keep people humble? Accountable?

@Osamabindansker - The simplest answer is that Christian's don't believe God is gods. The trinity is often labeled as the "three-in-one." You may ask, how can something be both three and one? An excellent question. The "three" and the "one" refer to different things. God is one being (one essence), and yet this one essence has three persons. Humans only have one person per essense, thus the confusion and lack of perfect analogy. Yet, it is no contradiction. God is one being/essence.

@hannahr77 The verse in Psalms 22:17 reads: "Like a lion, they are at my hands and feet." The Hebrew word ki-ari (like a lion) is grammatically similar to the word "gouged." Thus Christianity reads the verse as a reference to crucifixion: "They pierced my hands and feet."
