  • Oh please, I'm french and I don't take this seriously.

Your comments make the American feel that we're pretentious. That is one of their reasons they think we are. So PEACE !

  • its true i think

  • Fucking racist douchbag,he can't do this to me!!!

  • I don't like being bombed and attacked?

    Who the fuck does?

  • it is irony, retards

  • The FAMAS F1 can kick the M16's ass 31556908.8 seconds a year!!

  • well, i give the simpson 3 years and they will look like that.... simpsons are dead, when will people realize this?

  • This is why I hate the americans...

  • @RealDzns good.

  • @RealDzns good.

  • Who else sees raging UST in the comments?

  • It's a show...calm down..

  • americans before you say anything remeber that it was france that recognised the united states and supplied the revelution and was the reason that 90% of the british forces were unable to react to the revelution. before you say anything remember the usa would not exist if not for france...

  • @lotsodakka very true. in the US Capitol building there is a portrait of George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette

  • Making fun of French ? why ? cause you're Jealous ? yup !

  • People, this is featured in a game I used to play when I was 12. It is a game intended for children, It is a fun entertaining game to play, just as the show is an entertaining television series. Take a joke, its not a serious show and in this case game

  • @ycbr567 heh, I have yet to see a youtube clip where people dont start to drag in politics and war and stuff

  • Oh for crying out loud. It's just a fucking tv show. Stop being such pussies and enjoy the damn thing (or don't, I honestly don't give a damn).

  • This is funny. End of discussion.

  • Mocking France?

    That's a paddlin'.

  • It's a stereotype. It's not true and it's just for a joke so stop arguing pls

  • most Americans don't understand that France had one of the strongest if not THE strongest organized underground resitances in Europe during occupancy in WW2. If anything it's the exact opposite of "giving up" or "surrendering" so i've never understood when there are so many other countries that threw in the towel that France is still ridiculed for WW2.

  • It's funny how silly you people are. Are you completely forgetting what France accomplished with Napoleon as the emporer? or just forget what a powerful nation France has ALWAYS been, why do you think it's such a big nation?

Ignorant people, often Americans, associate France with 'giving up' because of World War 2. I'm sure they dont even know the details of what happened and i think that's the point of Homer (a dumb american) saying it, in the Simpsons. It's satire, after all.

  • @Urindunk You mean a briefly holding of Europe until you were completely nailed by Brits and Russians? And it isn't just WWII, what of Vietnam? Algeria? The Rest of your African holdings?

  • @Illier1

"You"? I'm a dane. Not French, sorry. Briefly holding Europe, sure, but that's like saying the Nazis weren't powerful and did well in terms of 'conquering' during WW2. Vietnam? Who cares about Vietnam? It has been a colony... same with the rest of the African holdings, I don't know if you noticed or not but ALL the colonies collapsed. What is your point? Take a look at the map, France is massive. A country isn't massive if it was ruled by cowards.

  • @Urindunk Nazis were only powerful when they had momentum, after they lost that in Stalingrad their nation crumbled within a few years, same with Napoleon. And when such a powerful nation such as France loses to outdated armies of the colonies and loses valuable resources that is a fail.

And France is only big because of it's past, when they were a superpower. I don't hate the French, I just hate the nation it became after the Napoleonic era. And compared to Russia, US, China sizes, pathetic.

  • @Urindunk Ya but France still wanted to keep its colonies, and thats when they got their asses whooped along with America. Also what do you mean "just a colony"? All those "colonies" had their own rich traditions and customs which Imperialism mostly threw out the door. It feels great when you can finally govern yourself instead of obeying some distant country telling you where to work and how to live your life.

  • @Urindunk making fun of americans? Thats a paddlin

  • @Urindunk in fact, france has the most succesfull military history of the world.

  • @Urindunk Somebody's butt-hurt.

  • @ch0k1ngh4z4rd he's not even french dipshit he's just not stupid...

  • @zecle I didn't say he was French. He's a Dane. Just seems way too wound up over a stereotype.

  • @ch0k1ngh4z4rd i don't like stereotypes too. if a joke talks about fat american rednecks , i'm not interested, even if i'm not american.

he 's just recalling a historical fact... anyone can feel concerned about anything...

  • @Urindunk im American, first off dont stereotype all of us as being ignorant morons, I would greatly appreciate it. Secondly, yes you are right, just igore my fellow americans who happen to be ignorant. And if your comment is directed towards The Video instead of the comments, then realize, like you said, that its just satire. The Simpsons make fun of everyone just about, including americans.

  • @Urindunk Well thats true. Although America really owes France a great amount because without the French in the American Revolution, America would never had won.

  • @Urindunk Napoleon was italian.

  • @ta666ak666

Oh, fuck off... Sure he was born on Corsica, but he grew up as a frenchman.

  • @Urindunk He was also defeated by the English

  • @Liquido562

Dumbass Napoleon was defeated by a coalition where the minority was british then without the prussian arrival Wellington would lost Haye Sainte has been taken by the french the desastrous compain of Russia was the beginning of the end

British just have the water to protect them, they never conquered a powerful country alone because they are anable to do it

  • @Spark02ify Ha, don't get too angry, its more to do with the leader, the men can be of any nation, if they are lead by a great leader, i.e Wellington, then they have a great chance of success. Yes there were 2 leaders, one British, but the point is, we still won.

I'm not saying France is shit at being strong military, history tells us that France was quite successful, but not as successful as the British, and our engineering is superiour. But who likes france? So it doesn't matter :)

  • @Liquido562

Wellington is not comparable to Napoleon Xd !!! and I can proof it

France has conquered powerful countries never Uk (the english try to conquered France they had their arse kicked by a girl farmer lol) France won more war than Uk and alone We have Rafale 100 % french EF 2000 ? not british but european and Rafale beated twice the pilotof the RAF at training

If you want I will make you a list of all wars we won against you rosbif

Uk has a small army, I don't mention your military cut

  • @Liquido562 , there have been 15 Major wars betwen France and England . France won 11 times England only 4 . if you don't belive this then juste look on Wikipedia at "liste of wars involving France and England"

    h t t p : / / e n . w i k i p e d i a . o r g / w i k i / List_of_wars_involving_England_and_France

  • @XBotticelli

Leur économie est recalée à la 7e place derrière le Brésil c'est officiel

  • @Spark02ify , je le sais depuis hier, décalage horaire oblige :D

  • Comment removed

  • @Urindunk no homers ignorance has nothing to do with it they are openly mocking you

  • @ting9395

It has everything to do with it, you fucking tosser. The whole concept of Simpsons is to make satire of america. The Simpsons are supposed to be an average american family, just because you are too stupid to understand the humour.

Btw, what you mean with "mocking me"? I'm not french.

  • @Urindunk im screwing with you moron

  • Comment removed

  • Making fun of France, thats a paddlin

  • @HigherPoker tried what? The only thing france tried was appeasement. I don't recall that working. I also don't recall any of it being America's fight at all, but we pitched in and bailed france out after they tried nothing, and ran out of ideas. You fucking french are about as stupid and lazy as you are arrogant, backward, and gutless. fance's only redeeming quality is that france is a whole fuckin ocean away from America.

  • @menacinggesture France lost a massive amount of soldiers in WW I. They didn't want to go through that again.

  • @steveconn but it didn't stop them from picking a fight with the vietnamese, and getting America involved, again.

  • @menacinggesture What, did they drag us kicking and screaming into that war? Keep dreaming.

  • @steveconn so America would have just gone there on our own in search of a fight? The same jitbags who wouldn't defend their own homeland went abroad to fight to keep their colonies in Vietnam. Backwards. The trouble with your stance is its an impossibility to defend france. The best anyone can do is make excuses for them.

  • @menacinggesture THINK!! WHY WOULD WE EVER GO TO FIGHT TO KEEP FRANCE'S COLONIES FOR THEM?? THEY NEVER ASKED US, AND THE FRENCH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR WAR!! WE DID IT TEN YEARS AFTER THEY GAVE UP BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE COULD DEFEAT COMMUNISM WHERE THEY FAILED AND WERE FED A LINE OF BULL BY OUR OWN GOVERNMENT ABOUT VIETNAM INVADING THE U.S.!! AFTER ANOTHER TEN YEARS WE GAVE UP TOO!! STUDY SOME HISTORY!!

  • Comment removed

  • @steveconn I did post a comment for you, and was creating another when I reliased that someone who types in all capitals is not worth my time, or the time of anyone else.

  • @DarrelHerring Easy way to admit you're defeated.

  • @steveconn The way in which I have been defeated is because of your refusal to be reasonable, and have a sensible discussion. If you want to, we can go into how France had a war with Vietnam and China to gain control of North Vietnam in the first place, then we can talk about how america funded the Viet Minh so they would fight against the Japanese after they took control of the French colonies in Indochina. (continued)

  • @steveconn Then we can talk about how after the Axis powers had been defeated, the French reoccupied Indochina, and how the Viet Minh didn't like this, beign a revolutinary army they didn't want to be controled by anyone. And so, the Viet Minh launched a war against the French. This war was really just a bunh of low-level rural insurgencies, but after the Communist Chinese boreder reached the north Vietnamese regions in 1949 it became a full blown war. (continued)

  • @steveconn The French were backed by the US, who wanted to stop the spread of communism. This is rather funny, because as I have already stated, they funded the Viet Minh during WW2; of course they stopped funding them. But now the Viet Minh were being funded by the Soviet Union and the PROC.

  • @steveconn Then we can talk about the Geneva Conference on the 20th of July , 1954. This made a provisional division between the North and South. The North was to be controled by Ho Chi Minh, and the south by Emperor Bảo Đại. Both North and South were given independance to stop Ho Chi Minh from controlling ALL of Vietnam, which was a possible outcome if the war continued. So, peace was made...(continued)

  • @steveconn ...but, after a year, Bao Dai's prime minister, Ngo Dinh Diem, deposed him. Making South Vietnam a republic. But this new republic's leader, Diem, wasn't to keen on negotiations with the North to organise a nationwide election in 1956. This eventually lead to war breaking out in 1959, this war was known as the Second Indochina War, or the Vietnam War. (Continued)

  • @steveconn Then we would have to talk about the Vietnam War. The North saw this as a colonial war, they foguht against the French at first, and now they were fighting asgainst the South, which they considered to be an US puppet state. The US got involved in the war, but this time they didn't just fund one side, they actually sent troops there. And I think we all know how that war went, right? Fall of Saigon and all that jazz?

  • @steveconn Now the reason I didn't make all those comments earlier, is because I really do not think you are worth my time. I really do feel that I have wasted all this time talking to you. So, I'm going to go and do some work to make up for talking to you.

  • @DarrelHerring Yes, I won the argument, we get it, goodbye.

  • @steveconn You actually made a mistake, I was pointing that out. But ok, go ahead and say you were right about it all.

  • @DarrelHerring I will because I am.

  • @steveconn Apart from when you said that the US didn't fight for the French; they actually did (in the first Indochina War). You also said that the US gave up after ten years, it was actually almost 20. Also, the fact that the viet minh were communists had nothing to do with their war with the French, their communistic ways were only a "reason to fight" for the US.

  • @DarrelHerring The Vietnam war with the U.S. lasted from 1965-75, ten years. The French and the U.S. both fought in Vietnam at different times, saying the same thing differently.

  • @steveconn I checked, the US was involved in the war since the start(1955), but they didn't send troops in until 1965. Then they left in 1973. We were both wrong.

  • @steveconn and no, the French and US did fight at the same time for a bit, towards the end of the First Indochina War.

  • @DarrelHerring That had nothing to do with America's involvement in Vietnam from '65-'75.

  • @steveconn How can you get the years wrong after we just talked about it? America was involved in the war since it started in 1955, and started sending troopr in 1965. They left in 1973. So it was '55-'73, or '65-'73 if you only count "invovlement" as sending in troops. Also, you are incorrect again. America was allied with the French to fight the Viet Minh, they created the State of Vietnam(South Vietnam) to end thw war and stop the communists from taking control of the whole of Vietnam.

  • @DarrelHerring Sending military advisers starting in 1955 is not the same as sending troops starting in 1965. No history book says the Vietnam war lasted twenty years. None. Nada. And the Vietnam war ('65-'75) was not a joint effort with the French. It was America's war, trying to misguidedly prevent the spread of communism. Every history book says this. Every one. The end.

  • @steveconn I never said France was involved in the Second Indochina War (Vietnam War), I said they were involved in the First Indochina War. The US actually started sending advisors in 1950, back when the area was called French Idnochina. And finally, I never said it laster for 20 years, it actually lasted for 19 years and 180 days.

  • @DarrelHerring But we were talking about the second war, not the first, so my point about it stands. And again, sending advisors is not the same as declaring war and sending troops. That happened after the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964, when the Vietnam war involving America and Vietnam started, until we left in '75. Over and out.

  • @steveconn Let's make one thing clear, the Vietnam War started in 1955, 10 years BEFORE america sent troops. The war was between North Vietnam and the Republic of Vietnam. The South had more troops fighting, and lost a hell of a lot more good people(not just soldiers). If you're going to insist that the war was actually "US vs Vietnam" (instead of "North Vietnam vs South Vietnam") then I can say the war was "Australia vs Vietnam", because they had troops in Vietnam too.

  • @steveconn Also, I never said America declared war at a certain time, I said they were involved from the start, which they were; being involved and declaring war are two different things. I would also like to clarify something, I think France has a positive military history (in terms of victory-defeat-draw). All I'm trying to do is let you know that the comment I replied to(the one in all upercase letters) had incorrect infomation in it.

  • @DarrelHerring The main point was America got involved in a Vietnam conflict to help the French, and we didn't; it was our own obsession with stopping Communism, and a fruitless one at that.

  • @steveconn Well, they wanted to stop fascism at first(Stop the Japanese), but they funded a communist revolutionary army (the viet minh) to do the fighting for them. Then in the First Indochina War, they were fighting to protect France's colony, but only because they wanted to stop the Viet Minh. So they were trying to protect France's colony, but only because they didn't want to be held accountable for helping communism spread.

  • @steveconn I think we actually agree, but solely using text to communicate has caused a misunderstanding(as it usually does). Sorry for the big fight XD

  • @DarrelHerring No worries.

  • This video has taught me how entertaining it can be to watch two other countries argue

  • Guys.. while you are discussing the World war or country vs country issue. The likes and dislikes are the balanced :) *Captain Obvious over and out*

  • as i'm neither american nor french, i'll just continue my way as if I've never seen anything......

  • it's IN france morron

  • @HigherPoker We had no reason to get involved. Then we decided that we should get involved in everything. We're not cowards, we're idiots.

  • I never go out without my white flag

  • im french but this is still funny :)

  • @TheGuyWithTheCookie1 until you surrendered to the Germans

  • @gopconservative78 like many country ...

And you , you lost the Vietnam war , amerifat

  • @alonzodono I love it when the sissy pissy Frenchmen say Amerifat when the Americans always say that French are a bunch of sissies and always surrender when confronted

  • Comment removed

  • @alonzodono You are aware France also lost Vietnam, right? It was a French colony and France gave up despite being funded by America... >.>'

  • @alonzodono You get fucked over in every war unless Britain comes to save you.

  • @spackhollogay every war ? hahaha

We beat Britain at Hundread Year's WAR HAHAHAHAHAH

  • @alonzodono Well, technically, Vietnam was more of a political defeat than a military one. No Dien Bien Phus. The USA was done to death in Vietnam by LSD drenched, smelly, lazy, stupid hippies.

Still, I think France did occupy Germany in the 1800's and was responsible in keeping the Dunkirk evacuation safe. So I guess it is a bit unfair moniker. You guys did have Napoleon.

  • @alonzodono Besides, I think surrendering is better than wasting your people's lives so I guess French generals are more caring to their men. Though Americans probably feel that French mutinies during WW1 is a sign that you guys don't want to fight then. Just forget about it.

  • @shaider1982 Umm...the french didn't surrender until their entire nation was occupied. It took a few weeks for the Nazis to drive the British off of Europe and the French to almost oblivion. You didn't care about men, the Nazis drove over the french when they could, go around you when they didn't feel like it.

War requires sacrifice, something that the Americans, Russians, and the Brits did. France was just a battlefront for the real nations of the modern world.

  • @gopconservative78 dude ur a troll so i dont care

  • @TheGuyWithTheCookie1 French can't fight out of a wet paper bag

  • @gopconservative78 thats pretty ignorant considering that the french only surrendered in ww2 when other contries surrendered way more get your facts straight before u talk shit

  • @gopconservative78 10 000+ channel views without any videos = troll :)

  • ...why are there so many political arguments on this video?

...why does it matter on this video?

  • i loved that game to death, who's with me?

  • 155 frenchmen saw this

  • The anti-french propaganda comes from the British/zionist influence over our media.

The french got hamstrung after WW1 in that they had to pick a side in a fake dispute that the British started with Germany over Poland. Many French actually sided with Hitler against Britain and never "surrendered"

  • Why the Hell must there be always disscusions about Hitler and the other Idiots? People wake up, it's just a Video! Of the Simpsons! Stop those Fascism/Anti-Fascism speaking of yours. It's over for a long, long time. Can't you all just enjoy the vid? -.-

  • @88BeefJerky agreed..

  • The comments on this video make me hate the human race even more. There is nothing wrong with Communism or Democracy. It just depends what you have been taught and have grown up with.

  • The Aryan race

  • Yeah well somehow, the USA never suffered from the wars on their own country. Entire villages have been destroyed in France and europe, thousands of people killed.

  • @RipuBhatia The Holocaust justifies the atrocities they committed (and still commit) in Palestine. Duh!

  • why are the top two comments on a video from a video game based on a comedy based television show about WW2 and mass murder

  • @RipuBhatia

To justify their invasion/occupation of Palestine. Also each time anyone goes against a jew they end up being called "the next hitler". All the worlds media is controlled by Zionists and they determine what you watch. They don't show the terrorism that Israel does and when you question them they use the whole "Anti-semitism" as a defence. You don't hear Native Indians whine about the genocide by Americans, The Aztec's decendents don't bring up Cortez everytime you argue with them

  • @itachi155 I'm sorry, but the media are NOT controlled by the Jews; it's time we put that stupid argument to rest.

  • @fabulapowers

Most senior ranking members of main-stream Media are Jewish or are being bribed by Jews. CNN, FOX, NBC, ABC and whatever other news the US has is controlled by the Zionist Regime

  • It's funny: in France's 900 year history it has the highest win/lose ratio of any country in human history.

  • @ArchhereticK ya but they have sucked since napolean he was the last good french leader.

  • C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER

  • @Chroma2021

I'm suprised the parent's didn't get involved. I've seen often people being dragged into Fox or CNN or some other Jewish controlled outlet for being "anti-semitic" How were they being "Anti-Semitic" they questioned a policy by a Jewish politition. I agree with you "Semite" means from the Middle-East, so any Jew/Christian/Muslim/Hindu/Athiest from there is semitic, however jews think Semitic=jewish. Having 8 generations in Russia or Poland drains the semetic blood ;)

  • @Chroma2021

Jews control the media, so the Jews control what people see. So they brainwash people contiously to feel remorse/sympathy for the Jews treatment in the 1900s. As someone said "I don't care what happened to your people in the past, it doesn't give you the right to be an ass today".

If you disagree with a Jew about ANYTHING, from like favourite band or food, to political issues, they play the "holocaust card". They accuse you of being anti-semitic because you won't bend over.

  • why do all French tanks have rear-view mirrors on their top? ---- so they can see the front! ... ahh just kiddin' you guys aren't that bad at all ;)

  • ha its even again muahaha

  • Not hatting France that's a paddlin'

  • OH MY GOD SCREW THE POLITICS - THE LIKE - DISLIKE BAR IS EVEN!!

  • @Ccaven BUT WAIT - I CAN MAKE THE BAR EVEN AGAIN MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I HAVE FOILED YOUR DASTARDLY PLOT AND I DON'T KNOW WHY CAPS LOCK IS STILL ON

  • would people stop getting in political and racial debates and just enjoy it

  • It seems that americans like being bombed and attacked

  • ahh Homer Simpson how correct you are!

  • la france vous baise gros porcs

  • I find the old joke funny, but just think back to Napoleon xd

  • @lordnimr0d i dont know too much about history but my point is that people seem to have this notion that they surrender without a fight when they really dont. a few noticable losses does not make them cowards only unlucky.

  • un tributo a aquellos valientes soldados que peliaron tan poco y se rindieron tan facil

  • Authentic world war 2 french rifle for sale never been fired only dropped once.

  • l'amour a la francaise

  • tru dat

  • ahahahhahahahah

  • everybody just stfu about the french being pussies whether they are or not is irrelevant the point is that every country has some shame in its country the british lost the war of independence the germans lost ww2 as did the japanese and so on so just STFU and enjoy the video rather than go round trolling

  • i'm from quebec...i don't like to say this...but i hate the french of France. Sorry...

  • @sebastien12364 im from quebec too but i lie and say im from france because french canadians are douches

  • i never understood why people call the french cowards. as far as i can tell from history they have always fought bravely. the only problem is that they mostly get their ass handed to them.

  • ha! those cheese-eating surrender monkeys... they won most of their many wars.

  • @PhantomWerewolf

how do french call a charge?

    a forward retreat

  • If you can smoke, do nothing all day, talk about existentialism and then still get laid I'm pretty sure I don't want to meet these women.

  • The Americans are a bunch of fat bastards. And the thruth is that obesity (very widespread in the US) is not a sign of virility. Vive la France.

  • @heystjim at least we can spell truth, idiot. Im also positive that France has alot of obese people as well

  • GUYS!! THIS IS A SIMPSONS VIDEO!!

STOP TALKING ABOUT THINGS THAT HAPPEND IN THE PAST!!

  • sorry i'm from brasil and i dont understand what homer said

  • The Soviets did all the hard work anyway. THe British were on tea break until after 1941 and started kicking ass. The US was busy bombing Japan and the French were busy slitting German throats and bombing railroads. Thus was WW2.

  • @concealedknight The Soviets were allied with Hitler until he broke the pact. The USSR only waged war when it was convenient for them, attempted to conquer nations like Germany did, albeit not on such a large scale, and very well could have been enemies of the allies. (They also signed a non-aggression pact with Japan)
